Iran wraps up disarmament summit

As Tehran wraps up its disarmament conference, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki calls on
world leaders to set a deadline for global nuclear disarmament.
Wrapping up the second day of the Tehran conference, Mottaki accused nuclear-armed states of
breaching the main pillars of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

The Tehran conference, dubbed "Nuclear Energy for All, Nuclear Weapons for None," opened on
Saturday with the main aim of promoting nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.

Mottaki said nuclear-armed powers have contributed to the proliferation of nuclear weapons and blocked
a number of other countries from achieving peaceful nuclear energy.

He also criticized nuclear-armed powers for not committing to global nuclear disarmament. The Iranian
minister said the international forum called for a review of the NPT itself.

The summit also urges Israel — widely believed to possess hundreds of atomic bombs — to join the
treaty and allow inspection of its nuclear sites, Mottaki said.

He said the participants of the Tehran conference stressed "that attacks on peaceful nuclear sites" are
considered to be in direct "violation of international laws and UN conventions."

According to Mottaki, the second meeting of the conference will be held in April 2011.

give Iran the Superior Moral Authority to redefine the NPT as it is best for the Iranian / Shiite
Islamic Interests in the long run which could lead in further destabilization of the International Law
and, assuming that the same Fanatics exist, even Abolition of the NPT while everyone will claim
that they fight for the same Treaty while this will allow Iran to acquire Nuclear Weapons with or
without the Typical Allowance of the International Law based on what already is the Status Quo in
Iran which is no other than the Sharia Law in Iran. From that Aspect someone could say that Iran
is pushing the UN through Global Summits as this one presented by the Iranian PRESS TV to
acquire first influence in Global Matters while in the worst case claiming some kind of
Championship to the eyes of the Innocent ,mainly, Muslim Readers]

Official Iranian Leadership to bring the participants of the Nuclear Summit in Tehran to be understood as
taking one of the opposing Sides, Iran or the US Led Western One]

According to Mottaki, the second meeting of the conference will be held in April 2011 [Definition who
could attend again not given, while implying that the Summit has some kind of success even though not
the desired one by the Iranian Officials, India is one of the states with Long Term Friendly Ties when it
comes to the United States of America that was supposed to take an obviously signed part in the Tehran
Nuclear Summit].
