VolumeViewer
Volume Analysis allows you to manage 3D and 2D imaging
in real time. Within the same display, you can review multiple
acquisitions, associating 2D images with a variable slab
thickness capability (Average, MIP, MinIP, Volume Rendering)
according to the exams requirements.
Reformat. With Direct-Multi-Planar Reconstruction (DMPR),
datasets are prospectively presented in the axial, sagittal,
coronal, and oblique planes. For more confident assessment
and diagnosis of sinus, chest, abdomen, inter-vertebral disc,
and fractures.

Multi-Projection Volume Reconstruction provides a quick

and easy way to generate volumetric images to help you
accurately enhance contrast and improve visualization
of structures. Apply MIP (Maximum Intensity Projection) for
vascular anatomy; MinIP (Minimum Intensity Projection)
for airways and bronchi; or Average for head or abdominal
examinations. The selected volume can be viewed from any
selected plane and combined with variable slice thickness
to help you clearly analyze lesions in the pancreas, renal
arteries, and spine.
3D Surface, 3D MIP, and 3D Volume Rendering. Volume
Rendering enhances three-dimensional visualization of imaged
tissue using a translucent rendering. This rendering provides
more information about spatial relationships of different
structures than standard 3D surface rendering. So you
can accurately and confidently interpret CT exams.
Virtual Endoscopy provides a visualization of intra-luminal
structures such as airways, sinus, or vascular structures. Images
can be viewed dynamically using a virtual fly through mode.

quantitative analysis of blood flow disturbances
in the brain, including cerebral blood volume,
cerebral blood flow, and mean transit time.
CT Colonography

and synchronized together. You can even conduct
a 3D flythrough that resembles an optical colonoscopy.
Bookmarking tools mark polyp location, and distance
and ROI tools quantify size and homogeneity.
Vessel Analysis
Allows enhanced analysis of vascular features
by automatically determining vessel centerline.
Tracking multiple paths allows you to measure
angles between branches. You can also view true
oblique cross sections of vascular images, and
rotate curved views to more clearly visualize
vascular lesions.
DentaScan

DentaScan
Creates a comprehensive set of cross-referenced
composite axial, panorex, and oblique planar
reformations of the mandible and/or maxilla.
DentaScan gives you the information you need
to plan dental implants or orthodontic surgery.

operator or scan room. Boasting one of the smallest footprints on the market, this space-saving system allows you
to fit more productivity into a smaller room.
This small, easy-to-use system also helps you fit in more
patients. By reducing the number of steps needed to
position and release the patient, the table design helps
streamline CT exam workflow and increase throughput.
The Brivo CT325 delivers the speed, power, and resolution
required for all types of routine CT applications. The reliability,
high image quality, and effective productivity you need in
a small compact design.
Auto mA modulates mA during both axial and helical
scanning, maintaining image quality on each slice.
This improves signal-to-noise ratio and optimizes dose
by adapting the current to the absorption coefficient for
each slice. On a traditional CT system, a constant tube
current may be too high or too low because the absorption
coefficient of X-rays varies for different tissues.

The bowtie X-ray-beam-shaping filters used in GE scanners

maintain more uniform X-ray at the detector, minimize surface
dose, and reduce X-ray scatter. They have routinely achieved
image quality with dose efficiencies.
The beam-tracking system also contributes to higher dose
efficiency, automatically measuring the position of the beam
and adjusting the collimator using data transferred in real time
from the detector. Because collimation is precisely adjusted
to slice thickness, post-patient collimation is unnecessary,
reducing dose.
With high absorption efficiency (99%) and stability, GE detectors
provide high image quality with optimized dose. Plus, each
tube is manufactured to withstand the rigors of exams that
require a large number of scans, allowing less tube cooling
time. For performance you can depend on, scan after scan,
day after day.
