Teaching-learning strategy
Teaching and learning will be via lecture and practise tutorial sessions. Students will also
be required to do their own self-study either through guided questions in notes, tutorial
and other learning activities.
Assessment strategy:
The coursework marks will be taken from the quizzes, written test and affective domainsoft skills.
Synopsis
This course is designed to enhance the basic skill in mechanical and electrical
engineering in their previous studies. Students will be exposed on motion in one
dimension, Newtons Law of motion, work and energy, rotational motion, momentum and
impulse and analyze in terms of mechanics, structure and flow of an object.
