(5)Read the following passage then answer the questions:

Advertising is a media message used to sell products or ideas to a target audience, namely, the buyers. By
being well informed, consumers can compare, contrast, try and finally, choose the right product. However,
some advertisements give a false image of products. Advertisements promote these products to make people
feel the need to buy. In other words, they advertise their products by sending attractive messages to influence
consumers decision. Producers become the decision makers. Consumers end up buying things they do not
necessarily need. The worst role of advertising is when computers advertise harmful products, such as energy

drinks or fatty food, not to mention unacceptable ideas. They persuade their target audience and make them
believe they are making the right choice, but in fact they might end up harming themselves.

6- Read the following passage, then answer the questions:

A few months ago, the pilot of a small plane had an unusual flight. A strong wind blew the plane sideways,
and it touched the top of a tree. Both wheels of the plane were knocked off but the plane did not crash. The pilot
sent a radio message to the airport. He did not know how to land without wheels. The airport controller promised
to help the pilot. He telephoned the airport firemen and told them what to do .
The firemen brought a long open lorry and drove to one end of the airport runway. The airport controller sent
a radio message to the pilot. He told the pilot to land on top of the lorry. One of the firemen drove quickly along
the runway and the pilot managed to land on the lorry. Part of the lorry was damaged and the tail of the plane
was broken but nobody was injured. The fireman slowed the lorry down and then stopped. The pilot was very
grateful. He gladly agreed to pay for the damage of the lorry.
