GIFT Newsletter/Magazine

Dear GIFT Family,

AOA! Hoping the best from all of you.
We are pleased to inform you that the Department of Mass Communication
has been working on the University magazine for quite some time. We
thought of combining the magazine and the newsletter and came up with the
idea of publishing the university Newsletter in the form of a Magazine. We
experimented with it and if you have noticed, the university has already
published three issues with the name of Tidings. The plan is to publish the
magazine quarterly and the upcoming edition will be available in January
2016. Here is a brief description of the structure and style of the magazine
Tidings:
The magazine will include both English and Urdu sections. Mr. Kashif
Khurshid (Faculty member, Mass Comm. Department/Magazine writer/TV
reporter) is responsible for contents collections, editing and write-up.

The magazine is all about GIFT and together we will make our magazine a

Editorial Board
The magazine Tidings is managed by the Mass Communication
Department headed by Mr Tahir Malik. However the editorial board will define
and decide all the policy matters of the magazine.
