Demand for various items depends on social, cultural, economic, climatic
conditions, policies and ongoing development programmes of the Govt. Hence, demand
for a product may come from sources like inhabitants of the State, various sectors of the
economy like agriculture, horticulture, forestry,

power and purchases made by

Govt.,

Boards and Corporations etc. All the factors have been kept in mind while identifying
