Switch Mode
Switch mode allows you to open another program or document and annotate over it.
1. Click on the Switch Mode button
. Flow!Works and your other program will run together.
2. To annotate on this document or program select your desired writing utensil and begin annotating.
If you are annotating over an Office application you will get an embedding toolbar on the screen
. This toolbar will allow you to imbed your annotations on your Office document and
navigate through PowerPoint presentations.
3. To capture your screens image so that it becomes part of your Flow!Works presentation click on
the New Screen Slide from the add slide menu.

Importing a Media File (Video, Audio, or Image.)


1. Click on the Insert Media button

2. Select the media that you would like to insert into your presentation.
3. Your cursor will become a plus sign. Chose the location where you want the media and click and
drag the media file into your presentation.

How to Capture an Image and Place it in Your Presentation


1. Use the Switch Mode

function to switch to your computer and find the image or document that

you would like to capture. Once you found it switch back to Flow!Works

Click on the Image Capture button

Chose to capture the screen, region or irregular shape.
Select to import.
Capture the image.
Your cursor will become a plus sign. Chose the location where you would like the captured image
and click and drag the image into your presentation.

How to Customize Your Toolbars

Go to File

Go to Configuration and select Configuration Interface.
To remove tools, click on them in their menu bar and drag them into the commands window.
To add tools, find the desired tool under categories and commands then click and drag the tool to
the desired location on the menu bar.
