•HEADS UP! Many visitors will continue to come by BK in the upcoming months for various reasons. Sometimes, due to the nature
of these visitors’ schedules we can’t always give the kind of advance notice some might like. To those ends it is important to
remember your classroom is a public space and you should always be putting your best pedagogical foot forward every day
with or without an outside observer. COMING SOON: a visit from the Council of School Supervisors and Administrators President
Ernie Logan. Date and time TBA.

•THE BK SIGNATURE SPEAKER SERIES: PEDRO NOGUERA FROM NYU author of City Schools and the American Dream and

event.

• JANURARY 31, 2008 = The Bronx Small Schools Collaborative PD. This Event occurs during second semester so it is not on
your present calendar. Three sets of BK staff will be presenting that day. All pedagogical staff are required to attend the event.

•PARTICIPATE! If you have an announcement you would like to make in the Wed or Fri announcements please send your
announcement to Ryan as soon as possible. Also, please send quotes and cartoons for Wed agendas - I would love to use words
and images you pass along.
