The staff cabin at Lumsden Beach Camp has fallen apart. Our staff dedicate
their summer to caring for our children, showing them the greatness of God
and the fun of camp. Meanwhile, they are housed in accommodations with a
leaking roof and rotting floor boards. The staff cabin was over 50 years old,
uninsulated and deficient.

With the help of Robinson Residential Design, we have developed a plan for a
new staff cabin which will provide living area for the permanent staff as well
as meeting space and an office for the director. There will be a small kitchen-

Of course, with building code regulations, gone are the days when you can
simply slap together a cheap building to serve as a cabin. The new staff cabin
will be built to higher standards of energy efficiency and construction than
previous camp structures. The need for cost effective planning and efficient
on-going operating expense will remain paramount. Make cheques payble to: Lumsden Beach Camp/three day build
