As you know, we represent Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. ("Countrywide"), a non- Shanghai

party in the above-referenced matter. As reflected in the Notice of Ruling (a copy of SI. Louis

Countrywide's request for sanctions and ordered Dr. Zernik to pay Countrywide London
sanctions in the amount of $16,170 within twenty (20) days of the February 15,2008
hearing. Though Dr. Zernik was to pay Countrywide $16,170 in sanctions by March
6, 2008, Countrywide provided Dr. Zernik with an extension of time to pay the
sanctions until April 7, 2008.

As of today, April 8, 2008, Countrywide has not received any payment from Dr.
Zernik. Pursuant to the Court's Order, in the event that Dr. Zernik failed to pay the
sanctions to Countrywide, you, as the Receiver in this matter, are authorized to pay
the total amount of these sanctions to Countrywide in the care of its counsel of
record, Bryan Cave LLP, from the Receiver's Fund upon notice of Dr. Zernik's
failure to pay.
