Where to apply
Departmental agreements
After your Departmental Coordinator at Stockholm University has received your
nomination from the International Coordinator at your home university, you
will receive an application form by E-mail. Please complete the form and return
it digitally to your Departmental Coordinator at Stockholm University. If you are
admitted, you will receive an official Letter of Acceptance from your department.
Deadlines
Please check with the department for application deadlines.

Central university-wide agreements


After the International Office at Stockholm University has received your
nomination from your home university, you will receive a link to a web
application form as well as information on how to apply and what documents
you should upload. Please complete all fields correctly and submit the form
together with required documents. If you have applied on time and followed the
application instructions you will after the deadline receive a general letter of
acceptance to exchange studies at Stockholm University. After that your course
selection and transcript of records will be sent to the relevant department/s for
approval.
Course selection form
Print out the Course selection form found through the link below. Take a look at
available courses in the course catalogue. Choose your courses together with
your department at your home university and complete the form accordingly.
Sign the form and have it signed and stamped by the International Coordinator
at your home university.
Transcript of records
A Transcript of record is an official documentation of your academic
achievements at your home institution. The receiving department at Stockholm
University uses it to check your academic background.

Language requirement
Students whose mother tongue is not English must provide evidence that
their English language ability meets the minimum requirements for
admission. Students from the Nordic countries do not need to take a test.
IELTS: 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each of the four components
TOEFL: PBT 550, iBT 79

Autumn semester - apply by April 1 the same year.
