School of Samaya is a Non Prot Trust Organiza=on


(Trust Number 002929/2011). School of Samayas focus is
on upli.ment projects and programs for disadvantaged
childrens homes and centers.

Our vision is to promote a one world community through


mindful living. Our mission is to empower disadvantaged
communi=es and especially childrens centers with
knowledge, tools and support to live in a more self
sustaining, caring community of togetherness and oneness,
beyond material gains for the greater good of all.

School of Samaya is a 100% volunteer based organiza=on for like minded people with a vision for the greater
good. We are totally dependent on funding, dona=ons, sponsorships, volunteers and strong partnerships and
rela=onships to help us make a dierence.

3. Sprinkler System Set up with borehole set up per home
R50 000 once o set up

4. Gardeners (Job CreaZon)
R1500 per person per month to work 3 days a week or
R3500 to work 5 days a week

Total Costs: R18000 per year salary for 1 person for 3 day week
R42000 per year salary for 1 person for full 5 day
week

1. Monthly Feeding Program

R6 500 to feed 500 people (400kids + 100 caregivers) for both homes
Op=on 1: Vegetable Breyani, Salad, water/juice and mini Cupcakes
Op=on 2: Samp & Beans, water/juice and mini Cupcakes
Op=on 3: Hot dogs and fries, water/juice and mini Cupcakes

2. Monthly Food Packs
Op=on 1: R250 per pack
Bread + Bu]er + Milk + Peanut Bu]er + Mealie Meal + Eggs + Canned Food




Op=on 2: R350 per pack

Bread + Bu]er + Milk + Peanut Bu]er + Mealie Meal + Eggs + Canned Food
+ Chicken pack


Food Packs go to 400 homes
Total Monthly Cost Op=on 1: R100 000 per month
Total Monthly Cost Op=on 2: R140 000 per month

The above packs are a guide. Food sponsorships are also welcome to
create our packs

The Thuthukani Childrens center has 350 orphaned kids. If we can get sponsors to sponsor a
childs educa=on, we will be able to send a child to a proper preschool facility and ensure the
kids have a structured schooling career.

5. Donate a Book
Donate a childrens books, old or new, that are s=ll in good condi=on. Our beneciaries
range from infants to 18 years in age so stories for appropriate variety of reading levels are
welcome.
Monetary Dona=ons are welcome

R2000 gets us around 150 books
Donate mobile book units and shelfs

R950 per unit

This program includes a full curriculum plan + materials for the kids and the teachers
resources and assessments.

Job Crea=on:
R3500 per educator to work 5 days a week
Total Costs: R42000 per year salary for 1 person for full 5 day week

2. Handyman Services
Both centers are in need of a Handyman to help x and maintain the
buildings.

Cost : R3500 per month to cover both homes.
Detailed monthly maintenance sheets will be completed and should
there be less work in a month the funds will be carried over to the
next month and accrued accordingly. Cost includes basic repairs and
xes. Major issues will be quoted for separately.

3. Donate toiletries, underwear, nappies and hygiene products to
the childrens hospital for the admi]ed kids and their parents.
Cost: R25000 per month to cover around 750 children

4. Donate old clothes (they should s=ll be in good condi=on) for the
pa=ents parents; many moms and dads arrive at the hospital from
far with only the garments on their back and need other clothing for
their stay.

Give back this Xmas is not only for the kids but a big Thank
You to all the volunteers, caregivers, educators, sponsors and
donors who helped us make a dierence for the year.

We want to be able to give gi.s to all a]endees. (Total around
750 people/kids). This can vary based on our sponsors and
donors.

2. Volunteer & Sta Recogni=on

This recognizes all the volunteers of of beneciaries and the
great work that they do and to say thank you for their eorts
throughout the year. The program includes a full days mindful
agenda, gi.s and goodies and food and drinks.
