OMSC 50th Founding Anniversary

(Cause and Effect Paragraph)
One of the most anxiously awaited occasions in Occidental Mindoro State
College is in its 50th founding anniversary. It is a one week celebration started from
the 9th up to the 13th of February. Great excitement and hurried activities are visible all
around.
The celebration was amazing and full of exciting event, but I cannot say that it
was perfect because during the celebration there are certain problems and minor issues
that I encountered. Then again problems are just a normal thing to happen, but the
important thing is that the show must go on.
One of the highlights during the second day of the celebration was the musical
play entitled Kabesang Tales it was held at the San Jose Municipal Gymnasium.
Before the show started there are certain inconvenient instances that I encountered.
One of it is time, it is being said in the program that the show will start at 1:00 in the
afternoon but the show started at 2:30 pm. I guess it was because the actors are not
ready and they do not have enough time to prepare for the said show, because Ive
seen some of the crew is still setting the stage and going over the sound systems.
Another problem is the lack of seats. The gymnasium cant accommodate all the
students, thats why some of them are standing and sitting on the floor up to the end of
the show. Many students complain and upset because of it. Another problem that I
experienced is that the noise of the crowd. Due to it, I can barely hear what the actors
of the play are saying. But still the show ends up successfully. I was then impressed
with their performance it is really worth the wait and the money.
Another highlight during the celebration was the search for Mr. and Ms.
Foundation Day 2016 it was held at the San Jose Town Plaza. Again, there are some
minor problems that I encountered. Just like in the play of Kabesang Tales the time
is also one of the problems of the show. It was supposed to start at 7:00 in the evening,
but it started at around 8:20 pm. Because of it, many of the audience get bored and felt
irritated because just like them, I came to the show early, but the show turns out to be
late. Another problem is the sudden blackout during the show because of it the show
was stopped for a while.
At the end of the day the celebration was so enjoyable and memorable. It was
great, exciting and amazing. I really enjoyed it to the full. We are all departed with a
smile on our faces and with a big thank you on our lips. I am sure everyone went
away with sweet and pleasant memories of that day.
