Lanier Health Services, Valley, AL USA05/2004 - Present

Registered Nurse
I was responsible for direct patient care, following a physicians orders and being able to
recognize life threatening situations. I held the position of charge nurse for six years. I stayed
current with all of my continuing education requirements while working full time. I have been a
preceptor/mentor for students during their clinicals.

Registered Nurse
Responsible for getting patients ready for surgery and ready for discharge following the surgery.
Communicate directly with Physicians and patients. Previously held the charge nurse position.
Monitor and direct patient flow. I am responsible for assuring that all charges are accounted for. I
make sure that rooms are ready for the following days procedures. I have been trained in
multiple departments, and I am able to assist these other departments as needed.

paramedic to treat patients in the pre-hospital setting. Communicate with other Medical personel
to be certain that patient care is continued. Complete patient care reports, both on computer
and written. Precept and teach paramedic students while they are on clinicals.
