AVIATION FUELLING SYSTEM
Imenco have made an agreement with Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace (KDA) in
order to develop and produce a fuel filling system for KDA’s new Naval Strike Missile.

The synthetic fuel which will be utilized in these missiles, is a non commercial
product. It is very stabile and can be stored for long periods in the missile without
degeneration, provided the fuel is not contaminated with water, air or gas.
It is also crucial that the right amount of fuel is loaded in to the missile. DISPENSER UNIT
The filling system is self-controlled, and scheduled daily test runs will be performed The Dispenser unit is
automatically and quality rapports generated. a separate cabinet designed
The Filling system consists of a transfer and filtration section, quality testing for easy and safe operation
sensors, manipulator for the missile and an advanced computer control system. during fuelling of helicopters.

The Dispenser cabinet includes:

• Filter water separator • Filter monitor
• Flow meter • Hose & nozzle
• Earthing system • Spill box • Sample glas
• Instrumentation • Starter panel

PUMP UNIT
The pump unit can be placed in a separate cabinet or mounted on the
base frame. The unit is the main feature for transferring fuel in the
system, and it is equipped with two stand alone high quality positive
displacement pumps.
The pumps can be operated by air or electrical motors.
Antistatic and fire safe ball valves and non return check valves are used.

The Pump Unit includes:

• 2 ea pumps
• Y-strainer
• Non return check valves
• Electrical or air motors
• Filter water separator (optional)

COMPLETE REFUELLING SYSTEM
We design manufacture and deliver Helicopter
Refuelling Systems according to client’s needs
and specifications, conforming to international
and local standards, by DNV, ABS, BV or other
class companies.
The Setec Refuelling system can be delivered with jet fuel storage tank
for up to 20,000 liters and transportation tanks for 2,000 – 4,800 liters.
Alternatively, the system can be composed with a minimum of two
transportation tanks, which also are used for storage. The tanks are
manufactured according to ASME VIII, PD 5500, PED 97/23/EC and
approved by DNV or ABS. Transportable tanks with frames according to DNV
2.7-1. The fuel tanks are made from stainless steel eliminating maintenance
and increasing life time of the tanks.

With emphasis on top grade material and workmanship, our fuelling systems are
delivered according to client’s specification and international standards. Virtually
maintenance free under all weather conditions, these reliable all round units can be
equipped with Fuel Sampling and Recycling Cabinet that meets the recognized
standards of environmental protection and operational safety. All cabinets are
equipped with roller shutter doors for efficient and safe operation.

Deluge system
A deluge system to protect against damages from fire can be delivered upon
client request. The system is available in stainless steel, CuNi and Titanium
materials with a capacity of 10 liters / m2/min.
TEST AND RECYCLING UNIT
A separate cabinet with fuel test and recycling equipment is offered for
optimal environment control, cost efficiency, and for safe operation.
The cabinet is connected to the fuel storage tank and dispenser unit by solid
pipes. The fuel can be sampled in a closed system, avoiding spill and unsafe
operation. After a sample has been taken and controlled, the sample fuel will
be stored on a tank in the cabinet. The jet fuel will be filtered and cleaned
before transferred to jet fuel storage tank.
The Test and Recycling cabinet includes:

• Filter Water Separator
• Tank
