LIVZON

LIVZON has been evolved after prolonged pharmacological, microbiological

and biochemical research supported by extensive clinical trials in
collaboration with national laboratories.

Activities and mechanism of action :

1. Protection of hepatic tissue from damage by virus and other

hepatotoxic agents such as drugs like paracetamol, INH etc. by free
radical scavenging activity.
2. Induction of the microsomal enzymes of the liver thereby enhancing
the actions of detoxification of exogenous and endogenous material,
the intermediary metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fats, the
synthesis of plasma proteins, the conjugation of bilirubin.
3. Dose related increase in formation and secretion of bile leading to
improvement in the execratory functions of the liver.
4. Regeneration of hepatic cells damaged by necrosis.
5. Reduces pigment load on the liver following major surgeries and helps
in the formation of serum proteins. Reduces clotting time by increase
in synthesis of clotting factors.
6. Immunomodulator-Improves immune status of the body to protect
against infection.
7. Increases bioavailability of INH and Diazepam.
8. Delays the ageing process by inducing Super oxide dismutase thereby
retarding lipid peroxidation.
It is absolutely safe with no known adverse effects. LIVZON contains no
heavy metals.
Indications : Viral and toxic hepatitis, hepatoprotective and cholerectic,
detoxificant, malfunctioning of the liver, anorexia, malaise, general tonic,

overcomes adverse effects of antituberculars and antineoplasts, antidote for

poisoning and during and after pregnancy, Protection of the new born.

Dosage: Adult : Prophylactic : -1 teaspoonful or one capsule twice a day

after meals.
Therapeutic : 2 teaspoonfuls or two capsules twice or thrice a day after
meals.
Children : Half the above doses.
Presentation : 30 ml. pediatric syrup, 100ml & 200ml.syrup & 10 capsules
blister pack.
