DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide quality assurance and quality monitoring for capital projects to ensure that contractors quality

personnel and processes are effective.

Provide technical support to Project management in resolving problems concerning inspection methods
and procedures of completing works within the scope and intent of applicable codes and standards.
Confirm transfer of heat numbers for cutting materials and maintain full material traceability
Witnessing procedure qualification test & Welder Qualification Test (WQT).
Review of approved PQR & WPS.
Ensure the Materials provided for fabrications are damage free and confirming that it is according to the
respective drawing.
Material receiving inspection for support fabrication.
Material consumables receiving inspection.
Ensure flanges faces are free from damages.
Valve inspections.
Reviewing of Test certificates (TC) of electrodes & Mill Test Certificate (MTC) of materials.
Ensure the filler wires and electrodes are controlling as per ASME Sec.IIC.
Reviewing the Isometric drawing, P&ID & GAD.
Ensure the equipment for welding and inspections are calibrated.
Attending weekly QA/QC Meetings.
Monitor the preparation, Fit-up,pre-heat and welding and post weld heat treatment operations to ensure
compliance with Project Specification.
Ensure all materials of P-No: 5A & above are to be back purged while welding.
Verify the dimension and alignment tolerances of piping systems are as per specification.
Monitor, observe and advise on dimensional checking to verify As-built dimensions.
Coordinate with client for modification of drawings.
Ensure that all welding processes & welding consumables are in accordance with the respective WPS.
Monitoring of pre-heat, interpass temperature as per WPS.
Witnessing and review of PT, MT, UT, RT, PWHT, PMI activities.
Reviewing and verifying the test packages prior to testing.
Checking and rectification of punch list and taking approval and release from client for hydro test.
Witnessing the Ball pig test, Hydro, Pneumatic test for pipelines.
Witnessing flushing, air blowing & manual cleaning.

Inspection of gaskets, supports, valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance as per the latest
drawing for construction, codes and specification.
Punch list clearance and preparing the packages ready for pre commissioning.
All document works prior to the pre-commissioning and hand over the activities in accordance
with the relevant procedures.
