Goal of the College:
1.

To pursue academic excellence and provide quality education in engineering, technology, and

II. Course Title: Teaching of Listening and Reading
Pre-requisite :
III. Course Description:
The course prepares future mentors of the conventional and contemporary
concepts, approaches and pedagogies in teaching listening and reading. It provides
simulation activities relative to teaching listening and reading.
IV. Course Objectives: At the end of the course, the students can:
A. Cognitive (Knowledge) :
1. Acquire sufficient knowledge of teaching listening and reading.
2. Develop the ability to teach effectively the listening and reading skills.
3. Define the principles of listening and reading.
B. Affective (Attitude) :
1. Express appreciation of the importance of listening and reading.
2. Realize the importance of acquiring competent skills in teaching
listening and reading.
C. Psychomotor (Skills) :
1. Demonstrate accuracy in a given task.
2. Create activities that show the skills in listening and reading.
