Volcanos are always forming new lands

or islands for us humans to inhabit.
Augustine Volcano is located in Alaska
as an inhabited island formed by the
volcano itself. Augustine was a very
complex Volcano because when it
entered the first stage of eruption it was
December 2005 and there are four
stages to an eruption. During the
activities of Augustine, there were many
reported earthquakes and by March
2006. Augustine has entered its last
phase of eruption and it was reported
that residents whom are approximately
14 kilometers away were also aected by
the ashes released by Augustine. Ash
Columns were created and they were
about 10 kilometers above sea level.

In 2005, many of our love ones were

aected by Hurricane Katrina
which was one of the major
deadliest hurricane that hit the
United States. Hurricane Katrina
not only hit New Orleans,
Louisiana, but also Mississippi,
Alabama, Florida, and the greater
eastern area of the US. It was name
the third major hurricane that hit
the US with at least 1,500 fatalities.
However, with all the
infrastructures build the water was
not able to be retrieved back to the
ocean which cause the flooding.
This was one of America's deadliest
and devastating hurricanes on
recorded.

LOCAT ION I:

In the past Los Angeles County was

known to be a dessert that had no future,
but thats what everyone thought until
Fred Eaton realized that water can be
delivered from Owens Lake. Although
Los Angeles County was a majority of a
dry climate, resident whom reside here
was able to grow crop and have
plantations. The water supply that helped
Los Angeles County pass its conflict was

Out of all the volcanos, Augustine is the most active

volcano Alaska has and from there Alaska has about 13
more volcanos just waiting to be erupted or had been
erupted and worn out. In 1883, Alaska was surprised by
the devastating Augustine eruption with collapsing
domes and to follow up with that new domes were
created.

LOCAT ION II:

New Orleans was a major hotspot for floods because it
was actually below sea level, therefore half of Louisiana
will be flooded with short-term flood. Thus, in the past
having the levees built to prevent the floods from
happening is actually worsening the problem because
now the water is trap in an area.

Hurricane Katrina

a major leaf turn for the residents and

new incomers who were planning to
move here. Thus, the dry climate has
forced residents to adapt and change
their lifestyle. Consequently, this cause
residents and farmers to fight for the
ownership of water during the 1920s.

LOCAT ION III:

California has a bi-polar climate where the southern area
is mainly a dry climate overall, whereas Northern
California majorly a dry winter. Although California is
overall dry, but residents are able to maintain and stay
hydrated by staying near the beaches and drinking plenty
of water.
