Do not oversell your capacity.

Never accept client time and cost


restraints without questioning.

Get fee conditions agreed at the start of


the job.

Up-date cost estimates progressively.

Never agree to obtain authorities'


approvals.

Do not prepare feasibility studies without


expertise.

Supervise your sub-contractor


consultants.

Be wary of innovation; use special care.

Do not specify anything you do not


understand.

Appraise tenders very carefully.

Do not amend standard contracts


without legal help.

Do not pretend to be an insurance


expert.

Insist that the Builder provides proper


supervision.
