NI Signal Processing Lab Series

National Instruments offers a flexible platform ideal to teach and perform research in the area
of Signal Processing. You can explore Signal Processing in NI LabVIEW graphical
programming software using both graphical and mathscript file compatible textual tools,
backed by a comprehensive function library. NI Signal Processing Lab Series enables
researchers to perform further advanced research students to perform their final year project
work in signal processing related applications in college.

Using the NI Signal Processing Lab Series, students can design filters interactively with the NI LabVIEW
Digital Filter Design Toolkit. They can also prototype designs targeting digital signal processors (DSPs),
field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and embedded processors. In addition they can interactively
design, analyze and implement digital filters within NI LabVIEW; and take advantage of over 30 types of
filters by using comprehensive tools for exploration, optimization, analysis and implementation.

“The NI Signal Processing Lab Series provides a hands-on approach to teaching and learning the concepts
of Signal Processing. NI LabVIEW software helps teach the Signals and Systems Course that we offer
effectively with the advantage of graphical programming. Students benefit from this experiential approach
and are able to understand theory better."
