With this Lab students can perform the classic inverted pendulum control experiment using
NI ELVIS and NI LabVIEW. They can balance a vertical rod at the tip of a rotating arm using a
DC motor. A wide range of control experiments featuring hardware-in-the-loop operation can
also be conducted using this Lab. This provides students a hands-on, practical experience of
engineering concepts.
The plug-and-play feature of the NI Inverted Pendulum Lab makes it easy to setup and allows
you to switch experiments in a matter of minutes, resulting in optimal use of your facilities.
