A.C units includes the following.
1. Mounting / Fitting indoor and outdoor units at

within 6meters distance and connecting both
units after drilling hole/holes in the wall if
required. Thickness of the copper tubing shall not
be less than 0.8mm.
3. Insulation the suction pipe with expanded
polythene foam tubing.
4. Laying drain pipe to throw out the condensate
water being formed in the indoor unit.
5. Leak testing the entire system unit.
6. Charging refrigerant gas in the unit.
7. Suitable electric wiring and switch to be
provided with in 3meters of the unit.(Data-A)

REPORT ACCOMPANYING THE ESTIMATE

Name of Work: Provision of AC units to the DLSA Chairmans Chamber and
Secretary Chamber in the ADRC Building in the District Court Campus at
Thoothukudi.
Est. Rs. 1,04,000/This estimate has been prepared for the provision of AC units to the
DLSA Chairmans Chamber and Secretary Chamber in the ADRC Building in the
District Court Campus at Thoothukudi, The main scheme estimate of
Construction of Alternate Disputes Resolution Centre in District Court Campus at
Thoothukudi, in Thoothukudi District has been technically sanctioned by the
Superintending Engineer, PWD,Buildings C&M Circle, Tirunelveli for Rs. 100
Lakhs (Rupees One Hundred Lakhs only) and Registered in CR.No. 14 /2011-12 in
which Rs. 60,000/- is provided for the provision of AC units to the DLSA
Chairmans Chamber and Secretary Chamber. But this amount is inadequate for
providing AC units to DLSA chairman chamber and Secretary chamber.
In this estimate 2 nos of 2.0 TRSplit AC units and 2 nos 5KVA Electronic
stabilizers are proposed. The rates adopted in this estimate are based on standard
schedule of rates for the year 2013-14.This estimate needs necessary additional
fund requirement of Rs.44,000/- for executing the work.
The expenditure due to this estimate is debitable to the head of account
4059-01-051-KX-1606.
