Prior to the beginning of the interrogation, I was explained the rights and duties of a witness
stipulated by Part4, Art. 56 of the RF Criminal Procedure Code;
1) To refuse to testify against myself, my spouse, and other close relatives whose circle is
identified by Item 4, Art.5 of the RF CPC. If I give consent to testify, I have been warned
that my testimony may be used as evidence in the criminal case, also if I subsequently
renounce my testimony;
2) To give evidence in my native language or a language of which I have a good command;
3) To make use of an interpreter’s services free of charge;
4) To recuse the interpreter taking part in the interrogation;
5) To enter petitions and file complaints against the actions (omissions) and decisions of the
inquirer, the investigator, the prosecutor and the court;
6) To come to an interrogation with a defense attorney in accordance with Part 5, Art.189 of
the RF CPC;
7) To request the use of security measures as per Part 3, Art.11 of the RF CPC.

I have warned about criminal liability for refusal to give evidence as per Art.308 of the RF

Defense attorney’s question to witness D.V.Klyuev: Identify the number of the criminal case in
which you were convicted, when and who investigated that case?

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: I cannot now recall the number of the criminal case, the
criminal case in question was investigated by the Main Investigated Department of the Moscow
GUVD in 2005-2006, the investigation having been carried out by investigators Karpov and
Golyshev.

Defense attorney’s question to witness D.V.Klyuev: Have you been accused and brought to trial
alone?

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: No, besides me, there were Igor Zhlobitsky, Alevtina
Evgenyevna Steganova, Oleg Yurievich Voronkov, Pechkin (I cannot recall his other details)
brought to trial as the accused.

Alexandrovich Markelov?

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: No, I am not.

Defense attorney’s question to witness D.V.Klyuev: Are you acquainted with Sergei
Vladimirovich Orlov, if yes, for how long, under what circumstances did get acquainted with
him and what kind of relations there are between you?
Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: Yes, I am. We got acquainted over two years ago. Orlov was the
head of the liquidation commission of OAO “Roseltrans”, we had working relations with him at
that time.

Defense attorney’s question to witness D.V.Klyuev: When did you last see or meet with
S.V.Orlov?

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: As far as I remember, I saw S.V.Orlov last at a session of the
Presnensky District Court where he was interrogated as a witness. Most likely, those
circumstances were the last time I met with him.

Defense attorney’s question to witness D.V.Klyuev: When did you last see or meet with
A.V.Golyshev, an investigator of the Main Investigative Department of the Moscow GUVD.

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: The last time I saw A.V.Golyshev at a session of the Presnensky
District Court where he was interrogated as a witness, I cannot now recall if I met with him after
that.

Defense attorney’s question to witness D.V.Klyuev: Are you acquainted with any employees of
Vneshtorgbank?

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: I visited Vneshtorgbank in August-September 2006 in relation

to a possibility of obtaining a loan. I cannot now recall with what specific employees of OAO
Vneshtorgbank I was meeting.

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: No, I am not familiar with this company name.

Mikheyev and Ekaterina Vladimirovna Mikheyeva?

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: No, I have not met F.M.Mikheyev. I have not met
E.V.Mikheyeva, but around three days ago, a woman called me at my office, who introduced
herself as Ekaterina Mikheyeva and who wanted to talk to me and she left her phone number. I
have not met her.

there is, who is working in it?

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: No, there isn’t.

Defense attorney’s question to witness D.V.Klyuev: Have you ever headed the organization
called “Chelter”?
Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: Yes, I used to be the head OOO “Chelter”, being its General
Director, I cannot recall exactly when, I think in 2004-2005.

Defense attorney’s question to witness D.V.Klyuev: Do you know that in some business-circles
your nickname was Dima Chelter?

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: No, I don’t know that, none of my acquaintances have ever
called me that way and I have never heard of having such nickname.

Defense attorney’s question to witness D.V.Klyuev: At what address is the office of your
company located?

Answer of witness D.V.Klyuev: I do not have an office as such, but my acquaintance Ainitdin
Karzhaoov has an office at 11 Novy Arbat, Moscow, and he lets me use the secretary’s services
and conduct negotiations in his office occasionally.
