The document outlines a two phase plan to convert an existing system to the Alloy Projects module. Phase 1 involves importing and configuring new object relationship maps, functions, views, statuses, types, workflows and actions to support projects in Alloy. Phase 1 also requires cloning the production environment for testing. Phase 2 focuses on creating and verifying new project tickets from existing incident and work order tickets on a case-by-case basis using a custom action.

This may need to be refreshed after an iteration that fails to convert properly.
Many of the above configurations are achievable by utilizing the Export/Import
features of the Alloy Administrative Settings tool. Complete identification of all relevant changes and inclusion in one or more extracts have yet to be performed. As part of preparing this extract and import of configuration settings one or more additional clones of the production Alloy system may be required. Once the initial customization of Alloy projects is in place migration of existing Project Incident and Work order tickets will be a semi-automated process in that new Project tickets can be generated from existing PR and SP tickets on case by case basis via a custom action.
