JAGUARS TERM 3 SYLLABUS

Below you will find the core language items and skills that need to be covered this term. The
coursebook page numbers provided may help you in your planning. These core items are compulsory,
but the materials mentioned are optional. Please submit any presentable samples of students' work
(posters, art, writing) to the YL Senior Teacher or YL Coordinator.
The portfolios/folders are essential in recording the learners progress and communicating it to their
parents. Your feedback should integrate evidence from the portfolio: homework log, self-assessment
forms, and work samples.
WEEK/LESSON 1

RESOURCES

Admin:
1. give out homework logs, self-assessment sheets,
2. give out folders to students marked as "N" (New) in your registers
3. explain how to use the folders
4. provide fire-drill training
5. give out the reader and get SS to write their names in ink both on the reader
and the coursebook (they will be losing them all the time)
