Safety Precautions

Safety Precautions
To prevent injury to the user or other people and property damage, the following instructions must be followed.
Be sure to read before installing the air conditioner.
Be sure to observe the cautions specified here as they include important items related to safety.
Incorrect operation due to ignoring instruction will cause harm or damage. The seriousness is classified by the following
indications.

Meanings of symbols used in this manual are as shown below.

connect the unit.

Do not install, remove, or reinstall the unit by yourself


(customer).

Be cautious when unpacking and


installing the product.

or combustibles near the product.

When the product is not be used for a long time,
disconnect the power supply plug or turn off the
breaker.

Take care to ensure that nobody could step on or


fall onto the unit.

Always check for gas (refrigerant)
pressure after installation or repair of
product.

Install the drain hose to ensure


that water is drained away
properly.

Keep level even when installing

Low refrigerant levels may cause

Do not install the product where the noise or


hot air from the outdoor unit could damage
the neighborhoods.

Don't use people to lift and


transport the product.

will be exposed to sea wind (salt
spray) directly.

It may cause a problem for your


neighbors.

Avoid personal injury.

It may cause corrosion on the product. Corrosion,


particularly on the condenser and evaporator fins,
could cause product malfunction or inefficient
operation.

Having perfect vacuum process in the factory, our units don't have drier but have filter in the refrigerant circuit.
In case of recharging R-22 gas in the field,

"DRIER" must be installed on the liquid line which is connected from discharge part of condenser to intake
part of evaporator. Because the refrigerant circuit is capable of containing water with imperfect vacuum.

Operation
Do not expose the skin directly to cool air for long
periods of time. (Don't sit in the draft.)

Do not use the product for special purposes, such as preserving


foods, works of art, etc. It is a consumer air conditioner, not a
precision refrigeration system.

Do not block the inlet or outlet of


air flow.

Use a soft cloth to clean. Do not


use harsh detergents, solvents,
etc.

Do not touch the metal parts of the


product when removing the air filter.
They are very sharp!

It may cause product failure.

parts of the product.

Always insert the filter securely. Clean


the filter every four weeks or more
often if necessary.

Do not insert hands or other objects


through the air inlet or outlet while the
product is operated.

A dirty filter reduces the efficiency of


the air conditioner and could cause
product malfunction or damage.

There are sharp and moving parts


that could cause personal injury.

Do not drink the water drained from the product.

Use a firm stool or ladder when cleaning or


maintaining the product.

It is not sanitary and could cause serious health


issues.

Be careful and avoid personal injury.

CAUTION

USING ELECTRIC
HEATER(OPTION)

The unit can sense phase reversal error & phase loss
with micro processor. If there's a phase problem on
the unit, the micro processor stop the unit and show
error message on the LCD wired remote controller.
Comply with the service manual and check power connection.
But all electrical work shall only be done by qualified
personel in consideration of the current safety
regulation.

2. The Units discontinue after the operation started

specified adjusting
pressure. If the adjusted
pressure exceed the
specified range, it will
cause a great accident.
