Projectile : Projectile is the name given to a body thrown with some initial velocity and then allowed to
fall freely under the action of gravity. The Motion so called is Projectile Motion.
Important Note : Under projectile motion, the acceleration due to gravity acts in vertically downward
direction.There is no acceleration in x axis (Horizontal direction).
Example :
Conditions : (a) The effect of frictional force due to air is taken negligible.
(b) The acceleration due to gravity (g) is taken constant.
