Image Editing and Design using Photoshop

The Wonders of Photoshop

Sometimes, we use things not prepared ahead of time or impromptu. We use things on the
spot not necessarily thinking the basics. For example is the image editing and design using
Photoshop. We use the Photoshop without knowing the basics. The lesson of the image editing
and design using Photoshop is for us to know the basics of the Photoshop, so that we can finish
our works easily.
According to the Adobe Incorporation Photoshop is an image editing software
developed and manufactured by Adobe Systems Inc. Photoshop is considered one of the leaders
in photo editing software. The software allows users to manipulate, crop, resize, and correct
color on digital photos. The software is particularly popular amongst professional photographers
and graphic designers.. We use this often in editing pictures for photography. There is a tool bar
in the Photoshop. It is composed of move tool, marquee tool, lasso tool, quick selection tool,
magic wand tool, cropping tool, eye dropper tool, brush tool, clone stamp, eraser tool, gradient
tool, blur tool, pen tool, text tool, shape tool, hand tool, and zoom tool. The move tool is a tool
for moving a selection or a layer by dragging it with the use of mouse or arrow keys. Marquee
tool is used for drawing a selection on geometric shape. Lasso tool is used for drawing freehand
selection. Quick selection tool is a brush that quickly paint selection in your layer. Magic wand
tool selects pixel based on the color and the tone. Cropping tool is used for cutting or cropping
images. Eye dropper tool copies the color of the part of the image that you click. Brush tool is a
drawing tool used for drawing strokes. Clone stamp tool is a tool used for duplicating part of an
image. Eraser tool is a brush used for erasing pixels, it is composed of background eraser and
Magic eraser. Gradient tool is used lines and different shapes that blend within the color you
chose. Blur tool is a brush used for blurring a selection. Pen tool is the most complex tool of all
the tools in the photoshop, it is use to define shape and other characteristics via vector graphics
and raster graphics. Text tool is a tool used for typing different fonts, it is composed of
Horizontal type tool, Vertical type tool, Horizontal Type Mask tool and Vertical Type Mask tool.
Shape tool lets you draw geometric and custom shapes freely in size. Hand tool is for moving
image within its layer or window. Zoom tool use for zooming or magnifying images.
In the lesson, I have learned the basic tools that is in the tool bar. We need to learn
photohop to enhance are creativity and to express ourselves creatively, we can recycle old images
and change it like a new one, transform pictures artistically, and you can have fulfillment in your

personal life by looking to your output in photoshop checking it on how you did well to improve
it more.
