corroso causada por metais dissimilares;

eltrica quando da sobrecarga;
Foram desenvolvidos com design que permite o uso de um
pequeno nmero de conectores para conectar uma grande
faixa de condutores, eletrodos de aterramento e vergalhes
de ao nervurado, minimizando os itens de estoque;
Os conectores foram projetados para serem instalados com
ferramentas hidrulicas, por um processo de compresso,
no necessitando de equipamentos e roupas especiais,
sendo a instalao simples, rpida e de baixo
custo, diminuindo assim o tempo de execuo;
Em cada conector gravado em forma legvel o cdigo de catlogo,
a matriz que dever ser utilizada na ferramenta de aplicao e a faixa
de condutores, facilitando a identificao do conector a ser utilizado;
Podem ser instalados em qualquer clima e tipo de solo,
eliminando custos de construo;
Todos os conectores SAC so fornecidos com past a INTELTROX e
embalagem individual de polietileno, evitando contaminao e
umidade, garantindo uma excelente rea de contato
e assegurando a qualidade da conexo.

The SAC connectors are made of pure wrought copper

which eliminates corrosion caused by use of dissimilar
metals and provides 99,99% conductivity whereas exothermic
connections will barely reach 40% when correctly installed.
All connectors are designed massive to ensure high
mechanical strength, offer larger contact areas and withstand
high fault current and atmospheric discharges.
Its range-taking connectors reduce large inventories to a
minimum necessary. One single connector can be used
for various types of connection on diferent sizes of
conductors, ground rods or rebars.
All connectors can be installed with a regular 12 T hydraulic
compression tool and regular dies (see chart).
Since its installation is a cold process the SAC requires no special
gear or protection equipment. Also, each connection can be made
in less than five minutes thus saving time and money for the
installer and the end user. All you need is the connector, die and tool.
The SAC also features easy inspectability by the installer of each
connection. Every connector is marked with conductor size or ground
rod/rebar diameter, die to be used for easy identification of the correct
connector avoiding misinstallation and delays.
All SAC connectors can be installed regardless of wheather conditions.
Come rain, wind, snow or other harsh elements SAC connectors can be
installed just the same because of the ease of its installation process.
No more delays due to unappropriate wheather conditions.
Restricted areas will prohibit use of exothermic connections due to hot
metal particles flying during installation and high risk of accidents.
Because it is cold-installed SAC makes work at classified
environments safe and easy protecting individuals and installations.
All SAC connectors are prefilled with Intellis INTELTROX oxide
inhibitor containing copper particles. Connectors are packed in
individual polyethilene bags to avoid contamination.
Unlike other systems, the SAC connectors have no pre-determined
shelf or inventory life being still good for use through the
years provided they are kept inside their original individual packing.

The SAC compression grounding system was designed to

provide sound and safe connections that meet or exceeds the
required standards in all different types of ground grids.
SAC is a complete system of pure copper compression
connectors for use on conductor-to-conductor, conductor-to-rod,
conductor-to-rebar grounding connections. It is a cleaner,
safer and quicker grounding method, especially
when compared to exothermic connections.
