BBA (IT) is a perfect blend of commerce, Management and IT subjects


heading for smart careers in Business Administration with IT flavor. BBA
(IT) offers opportunity for an early entry into Management cadre, equipped
with IT knowledge, to be trained appropriately by the companies for their
requirements. These students can also opt for higher studies in India or
abroad in Management field.

External assessment will be done based on the End-Semester as per SIU
examination rules.

Standard of Passing

Award of Degree

A student has to pass both internal &external exam separately with 40% of
the total marks. Student will be awarded grades based on the
performance relative to the class. The grade F of Individual head (internal
& external) will be considered as fail. A student will be eligible for award of
degree if he/she obtains minimum 2.00 CGPA at the end of 6th semesters.
The Degree will be awarded at the end of 6th semester examination by
taking into consideration the performance of all 6 semesters examinations.

Python is very simple, easy to learn, yet very powerful programming language. In the recent years it
has gained popularity in several domains including web, scientific and engineering applications.
This is an introductory course on Python programming. The course aims at building the foundation for
learning other programming languages and technologies in the subsequent semesters.
The course covers basics of python and its important libraries. On completion of this course the students
will be able to solve typical programming problems in Pythonic style.
This course will enable the students to implement the algorithms that are covered in the course Logic
