6 Grade Math Minutes

Chapter 2 - Fractions
Throughout the next few weeks, our math class will be

learning about multiplying and dividing fractions. We will also be

learning how to estimate products and quotients of fractions. You
can expect to see real-world problems that involve these
operations.

Our vocabulary for this chapter

Multiplicative inverse, reciprocal, repeating decimal, terminating

decimal, benchmark, compatible numbers, common denominator,
equivalent fractions, mixed number, simplest form.

The test for this chapter is scheduled for

Friday, September 30th.
