to understand the evolution and reformation of human society from farming to
industrialization.

Success Criteria: to be able to do a comparative analysis of two important ages in human history.
Starter (5-10 minutes):
Teacher/Student Led Activities
Pictographic depiction of Farming and Industrial age. Brain storm on the word
Farming and Industry.
Main Activity (20-30 minutes):
Teacher/Student Led Activities
Define farming and industrial society.
Identify major differences between the two. Compare and contrast different
two ages in history.
Example 1: Interpret changes in human trade.
Plenary (5-10 minutes):
Summarizing with clue words/sentences the topic for long-term student
learning.

Exceeding Expectations
If the students have an idea about various
ages and know the basic difference among
each of them.

If the students are able to get to the words
like reformation, revolution and evolution.
