Lot
In Genesis 19:1 Lot is waiEng at the gate of Sodom when two angels
appear to him. In the ancient world, the gate of the city was not only an
outlet, but also where meeEngs of great importance occurred.
And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of
Sodom: and Lot seeing [them] rose up to meet them; and he bowed
himself with his face toward the ground.
In Genesis 18:21 the Lord states that He will go down to invesEgate or
scout it out for Himself to see this evil which is sEnking up the heavens. I
will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according
to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
The go down happens when the angels appear at the gate or ancient
door of the city.

In Psalm 78:23-25, God opened the doors of heaven and fed the Hebrews
in the desert the food of angels.
Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the
doors of heaven, and had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had
given them of the corn of heaven, man did eat angels food: he sent them
meat to the full.
Ezekiel Portals Opened
Now it came about in the thirEeth year, on the Oh {day} of the fourth
month, while I was by the river Chebar among the exiles, the heavens
were opened and I saw visions of God. Ezk. 1.1
The hand of the LORD was on me there, and He said to me, Get up, go

the hand of the Lord GOD fell on me there. Then I looked, and behold, a
likeness as the appearance of a man; from His loins and downward {there
was} the appearance of re, and from His loins and upward the
appearance of brightness, like the appearance of glowing metal. Ezk. 8:1-2
Portals Over Geographical LocaFons
Habakkuk
In the second chapter of Habakkuk we see the prophet faithful to watch
and to see what the Lord will say to him and that what the Lord speaks, to
write it down. Habakkuk is waiEng at the place where he faithfully goes to
pray and wait upon the Lord.
OOen God will establish a portal over a geographical locaEon aOer long
prayer and supplicaEon has been made by a faithful servant of God.
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to
see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am
reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and
make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Hab. 2:1-2
In November of 2003 aOer moving from the Dallas area to Central Texas
(the wilderness) I felt compelled by God to desperately pray for a well to

That day, God established a portal in our home, and since then, our home
hasnt been the same. Witnessed by ourselves and others, at Emes, angels
are seen coming and going into the earth on secret assignments as well as
to bring us revelaEon, anoinEng, answers to our prayers and a sundry of
things as God desires.
The Lord has promised us, that as long as we remain at our current
locaEon, the portal will be established; When we leave the house the

Portals Established Over Individuals
Jesus
Portals can also be established over a person life as we nd over Jesus
life.
And He *said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens
opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of
Man. Jn. 1:51
Now when all the people were bapEzed, Jesus was also bapEzed, and
while He was praying, heaven was opened, Lk. 3:21
While he was sEll speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and
behold, a voice out of the cloud said, This is My beloved Son, with whom

Apostle John

While John was in exile on the isle of

Patmos, a portal opened and he began
to receive great mysteries of things to
come. This is a great example of a
portal, door or ancient gate opening
between the third heaven and a great
example of how God uses a portal to
establish revelaEon of His mysteries to
man.
AOer these things I looked, and
behold, a door {standing} open in
heaven, and the rst voice which I had
heard, like {the sound} of a trumpet
speaking with me, said, Come up here, and I will show you what must
take place aOer these things. Rev 4:1
And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, Come up here.
Then they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched

And I saw heavenopened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on
it {is} called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages

Maria Woodworth-ELer
There have been several ministries throughout history where God
established a portal over a person, and when they ministered, revival s
with signs and wonders occurred with the presence of God lling the
church or even the region such as Maria Woodworth-E@er (18441924).
Todays Relevance
In Zechariah 3, Joshua the high priest was clothed in lthy garments,
standing before an angel, and the angel said, Remove the lthy garments
from him. The angel declares that the iniquity has been taken away from
Joshua and he is now clothed in fesEval garments and then a clean turban
is placed upon his head.
Then in Zech. 3:7 Joshua is given charge to the Lords court and free

access to those standing there.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, If you will walk in My ways and if you will
perform My service, then you will also govern My house and also have
charge of My courts, and I will grant you free access among these who are
standing {here.} Now listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your
friendswho are sicng in front of youindeed they are men who are a
symbol, for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the Branch (Jesus).
Zech. 3:7-8
Heavenly Access
ChrisEans have been granted access through Jesus Christ to come boldly
before the throne of God.
Paul wrote about the access to the Father by Jesus in Ephesians, For
through Him we both have our accessin one Spirit to the Father. Eph 2:18
says, In whom we have boldness and condent accessthrough faith in
Him. Eph. 3:12
While reading Daniel 12:3-4 a few weeks ago, the Holy Spirit ashed inside
my spirit understanding of a hidden mystery in the above two verses of
scripture.
The context of Daniel 12 is dealing with the Emes which we are in now. The
book was wri@en for our Eme and as Daniel 12:9 Daniel is told to go his
way for the words are sealed up unEl the end Eme. Verse 3 speaks of those
ChrisEans who have insight and those who will lead many to righteousness
and will shine brightly like expanse of the heavens and the stars forever!
Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the
expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the
stars forever and ever. But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal
up the book unEl the end of Eme; many will go back and forth, and
knowledge will increase. Dan. 12:3-4
How Did They Get Insight?
In Daniel 12:4 the mystery
is revealed, Many will go
back and forth, and
knowledge will increase.
The back and forth speaks
of believers experiencing
open gates, ancient doors
or portals between the
third heaven and earth.
Much insight in the last
days will come from angels
descending to believers or

believers ascending to heaven and thus knowledge will increase.

The context of these two verses is, that in the last days God will raise up
some believers who will bring much revelatory insight to the body of Christ
and to the world for the gathering in of the saints and lost souls.
Much of this personal revelaEon will be revealed when the gates of heaven
open to people and they are taught mysteries such as what is holding back
revival from happening in our churches, ciEes and regions of the earth.
There will be individuals who minister under a portal or open heaven and
carry a heavy anoinEng upon their lives, and wherever they travel, revival
will break out, miracles occur and a great harvest of end-Eme souls will be
won to God.
By open portal encounters, Biblical understanding of the scriptures will
come, bringing clarity to the meaning of the verses, thus bringing
correcEon to errant doctrines in some doctrinal areas in the church today,
at least to those who are willing to accept truth. Indeed, some saints are
already experiencing these open heaven encounters and speak and write
about them today.
Paul Caught Up Through a Portal
Paul experienced great revelaEon just as spoken by the prophet Daniel in
chapter 12:3-4. Paul heard such inexpressible words that he knew he was
not permi@ed to speak.
I know a man in Christ who fourteen years agowhether in the body I do
not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knowssuch a man was
caught up to the third heaven. And I know how such a manwhether in
the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows was caught up
into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not
permi@ed to speak. 2Cor. 12:2-4
In Summary
If you read the verses of Psalm 24:7, it speaks of the King coming in or
coming down through the ancient gate or door and as Daniel 12:3-4 records
back and forth of believers in third heaven experiences. LiO up your
heads, O gates, And be liOed up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may
come in! Ps. 24:7
In Psalm 118:19-20 the scriptures speak of the believer entering in, Open
to me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them, I shall give
thanks to the LORD. This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter
through it. Ps. 118:19-20
I strongly believe that as the body of Christ, that we dont seek portals or
gates or even to minister under an open heaven. We do seek God with all

our hearts, and it is by our conEnually seeking Him, and being faithful to His
house, that portals may be established at Gods discreEon for His purpose
and glory.

May I? I have been set free of several deaf and dumb spirits,
healed of more than I can fathom, and my son has had some
awesome dreams for my wonderful breakthroughs. Can I
share for there was a portal mentioned in the dream.

In my dream I woke up from my bed in the middle of the
night. I went into the kitchen. Joseph appeared at the
backdoor and came in.
He was a younger version of himself and his eye wasnt
messed up. I turned around and another one of him appeared
out of nowhere by the microwave. I freaked out bc something
wasnt right. The second Joseph came in the living room and
jumped on the entertainment center and just froze in place.
The other one was lying motionless on the couch. Another
little kid was in the room. I think it was Phil or Dan.
I yelled for mom and dad to come check this out. My mom
came in and told my dad something was messed up between

heaven, hell, and earth.

It was like something was wrong with a portal. Dad grabbed
his bible and started reading through it,
like he was trying to find an answer to this problem. I
looked/walked out back in the yard and there was a huge
thick white wall in the middle of the yard.
I didnt look up to see the top but I believe it was 100s of
feet tall. I think it was about 6ft thick and 20 ft wide.
My mom was out there looking at the wall too. I think my dad
was on the porch. I think the next cat that came back was
Samantha.
We werent letting them in. It was like they were demons or
something that werent supposed to be here.
Stuff rising from the dead and multiple versions of them
seemed bad since we knew it really wasnt them. They were
something else. I came back in.
I felt like something was trying to get into the house. I looked
out the front screen door and saw nike and some other cats
just show up out of nowhere. There was an orange feral cat
and another orange less threatening cat at the door too.
The feral cat wanted in and was hissing at me. I started
hissing back at it and hitting the screen door to get it away.
There was a tear in the metal door too, like from an old rust
spot. I opened the door briefly and looked under the AC and
cinnamon wanted to come inside. I pushed her away and shut
the door and looked at mom and said it happened.
Cinnamon is here. I then started looking in my computer for
viruses.
It was like this was happening bc there was viruses/curse on
my computer. We started running all kinds of scans and pop
up windows started appearing. It was like whatever was doing
this didnt want to be found. We kept trying to fix it but
nothing was showing up. I thought maybe I asked mike since
he knows computers. He asked me questions about software I
had on to remove the virus.He then logged into a website or
software that used an outside computer to scan my computer
rather than have my computer scan itself.
His login was~~mikeknowseverything~~and the password
was~~ imgrade2leveltoo
I Woke up with the word David or King David in my head. Saw
a guy with an image of a crown.

Two days ago as I was waking up I heard a voice that asked
me to go to a certain address at a particular time during the
day. This is so strange! I could not even tell my husband.
Second day the instruction kept ringing in my heart and I told
God that Im so sorry for not going because I was scared. I
didnt know it was Him. Never had Him like that before. I
prayed for another chance. Then second day as I was waking
up, I was thought this song Gate of heaven open, open up,
open up. Open up for me So I decided to come on Internet
and read more about gate of heaven. Your site has been so

Keep seeking Him in relationship and He will
reveal the meaning when He is ready. You very
well maybe entering into a period of divine
revelation in which God will share mysteries and
secrets of His kingdom. We certainly are in the
end of days and darkness is abounding. However,
His light will outshine darkness all the more.

Hi, I just read your article on Portals of heaven and found it
very intersting. I have been concerned about something the
Lord spoke to me sometime last year 2014: I was praying
when I slept off. And in my sleep I heard these words The
gates of heaven are open upon you. I had been a little

troubled everytime I remembered these words until this

morning when I read that the doors of heaven can be open
over an individual. Thank you so much. But I still sense in my
heart that I havent gotten the full message. Could you
please be of help. Thank you.

That is an awesome word from the Lord. I have
noticed on many occasions over the years that
spiritual window opening just after dozing off and
right before waking up is when the Lord
sometimes chooses to speak a word or show us a
vision or both. I believe it is so we will remember
what He said to us. The things the Lord says to us
always mean more because He is so much more
complex and beyond our minute understanding of
spriitual matters. I know you are pursuing Him on
gaining more understanding so you dont miss out
on what the Lord means. It will become apparent
to you eventually. I ask the Lord to make things
clear to me that He has shown me all the time.
We must just keep pursuing Him in a beautiful
relationship and continue to trust Him with your

I came to this site today, after years of seeking out the
spiritual significance of Gates and Doors. It seems I am
not alone in my hunger for truth about these thingsor my
growing awareness of them.
My journey, of course, began in scripture. I always knew there
was some deeper treasure to be found in the exploration of
the verses involving gates (I have the same prodding about
scriptures that deal with mountains, stones and streams).

God has been so gracious to me to reveal precious gems of

insight about these things and I delight in the little nuggets of
insight He has given.
As I began taking those nuggets of truth and exploring them
further I have found some very interesting events/details
going on in the world that seem to relate. I am not sure how
(or if) these tie in to these end times and spiritual gates but
they seem significant. Im wondering if you are familiar with
these things and what your thoughts may be.
1. Sept. 23 marks Yom Kippur on the Jewish calendar. Yom
Kippur is considered the holiest day of the year for the Jewish
people. Its their Day of Atonement. It is celebrated with
prayer and fasting from sundown of Sept 22 through sundown
of Sept 23. The service concludes with the Neila (closing)
prayer, which begins shortly before sunset, when the gates
of prayer will be closed. There are also many physical
gates associated with the original Jewish temple. I know
and am so thankful that Christ has fulfilled all of the
sacrifices and promises regarding atonement, but I cant help
but wondering if some of those sacred Old Covenant things
purposefully and symbolically represent a deeper truth for
the New Covenant.
2. Im sure by now you are familiar with CERN and the
experiments they are doing with their Large Hadron Collider. I
was not familiar with this until a few months ago and was
astounded that something as huge as this was going on and so
few people had a real awareness of it. They admittedly are
trying to open up a portal into another dimension and have
had some success. In fact, the graphic attached with your
article looks a whole lot like some of the photos on their
website. This organization, although scientific in nature, is
clearly rooted heavily in the occult. Just one glance at the
CERN logo and the statue of Shiva outside their building
should be a clue to anyone with even a little discernment. I
cant help but wonder how CERNs upcoming experiment will
play out in relation to the events of the end of the age.
Several of the dreams and visions noted by others on your
cite could go hand and hand with what CERN is hoping to
accomplish with their experiment into dark matter and
alternate dimensions.

Thanks for your interest and communication. As
mortals we know only a small amount about
spiritual portals most of which comes from careful
reading of the Holy Bible and from the Father
establishing portals at His discretion. We do know
that the Feast of the Lord divine appointments
established by Him so mankind may meet with
Him in a holy convocation. Great spiritual events
have occurred throughout the establishments of
the set time of the Feast of the Lord in the
Levitical text. When I look at what is recorded in
the prophetic text in the Bible and what is
occurring in the world event we know that the
days of Jacobs trouble is nigh. Even though we
may not immediately recognize that a spiritual
prophetic time has begun unless the Father
reveals it to us by a prophetic word, dream or
vision from the Lord. One example I can give you
is that I saw in vision in 2008 where I was standing
in a field of tall standing wheat. Then there was a
strong force that began to bend the wheat offer
backwards bending its head to the ground. Then
the Lord showed me that the media outlets would
begin to attack Christians. Look at what the
media had done since that point to Christians but
it occurred slowly over time but now its in out
everyday news as darkness rises. The appointed
times are measured in Daniel where are direct
time related between certain feast during certain
years. i.e. 1260, 1290, 1335, 2300 days.
CERN is very disturbing because of what theyre
attempting to do. We know that God will send a
deluding spirit upon those who do not love the
Lord. It is conceivable that the pit of darkness
could be open and all hell would break loose by
the providence of the Lord upon mankind and the
CERN people would celebrate it in their delusion.

Our purpose is to be ready and hidden in the Lord

no matter what comes upon mankind. May you be
blessed in your walk with great joy and
understanding of the Lord and all He is within us.

God. Everything about Him is supernatural
regardless if you are quietly praying or in the
throws of an open vision. My message is always
about relationship with Him. Without that, we are
not known as His and we do things for our own
self interest according to Matthew 7:21-22. I urge
you to seek the Living God with all your heart and
place Him first in ever aspect of your life and you
will certainly experience the supernatural of God.
Our intentions must always be to know Him and
better still to be known of Him. Allow Him to
wrap you up in His love and experience the Joy of
the Lord. The only limit to what God can and will
do is His people limit Him. Just making it your AIM
to know Him and let God decide what is best for
you. He always has a better plan for us that we
can think of or even imagine. Jer. 29:11

The same thing happened to me years ago. I did not
understand what was happening. I was sleeping but,I thought
I was awke.I was sleeping on my left side and I looked up at
the ceiling and saw a blue sky with clouds.In the clouds were
people smiling and waving at me. I smiled back and closed my
eyes. When I awoke it started me. I looked up and nothing
was there. I have had many experiences dealing with the
spirit,that I could not explain and understand. Thank for this
eye opening experience. Now I know I am not alone.

God has also been talking to me about portals, gates and
doors. Its a very interesting subject and now every time I see
gate or door in Scripture I light up. I think He wants His
people to be gatekeepers and watchmen. This is also
connected to Is 22:22 which speaks of the key of David to
open and close doors. There are some doors that should have
never been open that allow access to the enemy and there
are some door that should be open for the King of Glory to
come in. The Lord has been directing me repeatedly to Ps. 24
which speaks of ancient gates and doors. If you want to learn
more in this subject I encourage you to visit Aslans Place on
the web. They have interesting videos and articles and they
often speak of gates, doors and portals. I have also been
learning that we are connected by lines, strings and cords.
There can be healthy and godly connections and also
unhealthy or ungodly connections. Some need to be broken,
mended or cleansed. The bible also talks about highways of
holiness in Isa. 35. These may go through your home, church
or office and they can become contaminated and be referred
to as lay lines and the enemy will use them for his purpose.
But you can ask God to cleanse it and remove all evil. Aslans
Place also has great prayers for generational deliverance
posted on their site that God has given them. Bless you all!

A couple years ago I took a some people on a hiking trip to a
place called Spirit lake. One of the nights we decided to pray
and Gods presence came really strong. We were seeing
angels, visions and just being blessed by Gods presence. It
was really powerful. I looked at history of the lake and I guess
the Native Americans thought that it was a very spiritual
place, hence the name Spirit lake. Ive often wondered about
it. Ive always kinda wondered what is up with that? Is it a
portal? But I also suspect the Natives where taking part in
demonic activity soany ways just wondering if some hade
revelation on this type on thing? THANKS

on the subject. Im excited as 4 of the scripture verses you
quoted ate the exact ones God spoke to me about. Im

particularly excited about your exposition on Daniel as it also

sheds light on the source of Elihus wisdom in Job 36:1-4. This
is the only way to refute the lies & arguments emanating
from the pit of hell in this day & age.

I live is a town where Maria Woodworth Etter ministered
extensively. There is mention of it in her diary. I and many
others have been praying for many years for breakthrough
and an open heaven. We have only been able to gain partial
and limited breakthrough. We love the Lord so much we
know that the heavenly realm in crucial in this area.
We have not broken through. It seems we are in a heated
battle right because breakthrough is soon coming. Can you
give me any insight?

my Jesus. Ive been searching for more information and really
appreciate your teaching on it yet I feel theres still more on

Im like you in the fact that I want to understand
more and experience more ancient gates. It
amazes me that so much interest has sprung up in
just the last year or so. This is probably one of
the top searched articles on this blog. Im just
seeking Jesus and it is through that kind of life
that God allows for these portals open whenever

He decides. I have a few more things to write on

the subject but I just havent gotten around to it
as of yet. To give you a hint where to begin take a
look at Gen. 1:14. Were about to enter into the
Feast of Trumpets this Thursday at sun down
Jerusalem time which can be a very active time in
the spiritual atomoshere of the heavenly kingdom.
Keep seeking the Christ and all things will be
given unto you!

Dear Writer,
I believe in Portals as I was personally told by God to study
gates. Like you said, seeking them in itself is not the aim but
understanding that they are there and that opportunity exists
for us to be blessed in all ways through this knowledge.
Since angels themselves look into the scriptures to
understand them as we do, one must be careful about
visitations of angels and what they say. Nothing can be
outside of the word of God as revealed to us by the Holy
Spirit of God alone.
