Statement of Purpose

It was the first successful accomplishment I did in the science field as I built a Simple
Mechanical Toy as early as a lower secondary level student. Though by no means imposing in
itself, it accompanied me in exciting my aspirations to delve into the intriguing mysteries
hovering around the realm of Mechanics. I took Physics as my major in High school where I was
introduced with the basic concept of Mechanics. My quench to unravel those mysteries grew
even stronger. After ranking myself in top 1% applicants among all 50,000 applicants, I got
admitted to Thapathali Campus, IOE, as a regular student. My proclivity towards Industrial
mechanics made me opt the course the course of Industrial Engineering.
During my under graduate course , I gained in-depth knowledge about technology as well as
management. Subjects like Operation Research, machine design...........etc, revealed me to the
limitless horizons in the field of Industrial Engineering , and within this I find myself more
inclined towards Field of Energy, Fluid mechanics , and Thermodynamics. In this regard, I did
my final year project on Design, Prototyping, and case study on Maintainance of Hydraulic
Ram. Likewise, I did seminar paper on............
I have always wanted to hone my knowledge and excel on my field of interest. To be abreast of
changing technologies and to upgrade my intellectual heirachy, I have decided to Pursue MS
