energy in their life, because food and energy are fundamental requirement for
the all mankind. Because of the importance of food and energy, not a few
country in the world makes food and energy as their prior comodity export for
run an economy inside the country. Not suprisingly, many country race againts
the food and energy development. And not a few country are left behind in food
and energy development, so they can do import market from other country. And
import activities increasing market movement in food and energy sector.
The distruption of food and energy security strongly associated with food and
energy availbility, and what will happen in the future is less food and energy
supply that cause food and energy scarcities. Food and energy will continue to
increase along with the increase of population and industrialization development,
so the achivement of food and energy needs will significantly increase. In longterm development programs from many country, food and energy are very
important for their national plan. But, the existance of food and energy security
decrease in some countries particularly developing countries.
Food and energy diversity become a reference for the growth and development

countries, and remains concerned about environmental sustainability in order to
create food and energy needs inside environmental sustainability path. Food and
energy development also implemented with concerned in needs and in period of
time, both for domestic demand or international demand (export) so there is no

would threaten the national security.

country to understand and be able to response to in the coming decade. It is
food-water-energy nexus, it is contain water security, food security and energy
security that would impact to climate change. Food and energy security were
include inside of it. From that nexus program, it can be said that most of the
government arround the world already paying attention to food and energy
issue. But as the time goes by, it created problems for example conflict of
interest between different groups, human right violation, and environment it self.
Food and energy security have complex connection with national policy and
other aspect such as economy, natural resource, technology, politics, and other
related aspect inside the country. Not a few people inside the countries arround
the world relating the failure of food and energy sector fulfillment with the failure
of a their goverment and economic disparity, also this sector could cause
geopolitical conflict. Therefore, food and energy sector are a part of the strategic

commodities because every system and dynamics of human life related to these
factor.
Requirement management of food and energy if we associate with food and
energy security for industrial countries, is a sector that quite important.

destination country, producer, or individual. Once again, food and energy
become media for many people that have interest and power in food and energy,

they become consumer, producer, or capital owner.

problems. Therefore, strategical value in food and energy sector is important. In
global aspect, the change factor of food and energy value provided has direct
result for the country. Hence, food and energy policy that provide in global
aspect such as environmental sustainable become a good attempt in many
country arround the world, so the country can provide good market for
economical issue, cleantech industry, and assured community.
Developing plant varieties, developing hybird energy can be used as an
alternative in maintain the sustainable of food and energy fulfillment in national
sector. Development of food varieties such as analog rice and energy such as
biomass and biogas also can be an option and solution for food and energy
fulfillment, even in many countries have developed biogas in industrial scale.
With food diversification and treating waste became electricity, can be used as a
reference for the country with small portion of developed sector of food and
energy. therefore, in the future, food and energy policy in a country must
strengthening the food and energy security, the policy must executed in
strategic and in appropriate ways. So there are many country with a good
national food and energy security, that can help and provide international food
and energy security.
