QHRLS - DR
This solution termed as Direct Recovery, or DR is an open-loop system, recovering the regular boiloff
(not the flash boil- off, therefore with a reduced recovery rate) from the customer device. As stated in the
name, the system will send the boiloff directly to the liquefier, for re-liquefaction. When the liquefier
Dewar is full, or when the customer device needs liquid helium, Quantum system allows for the dewar to
be removed from the liquefier and transported to the customer system. The recovery rate of this system is
around 50-60%, primarily due to the losses in the liquid transfer processes.
