The Craft Club will once again setup a
food both during the Heritage Festival of
Flight. This will be the 9th year that the
Lodge has participated in this
event. This is the Lodges
biggest fundraiser for the year
and we ask for your help in
carrying out this large and
important undertaking. The
profits from the sales go towards a variety
of things; charitable donations, kitchen
fund, supporting the Masonic Association
and the other bodies that meet in the
Temple. Everyones Help Needed

Classic Cruise - In 4 - 10 PM
Stop by our food booth in front of the Masonic Temple
The weekend Festival opens with a Classic Cruise-In. In past years over 800
Classic Cars & Trucks have lined Main Street for one of the states largest
cruise-ins. 50/50 Raffle. Live Entertainment all night. Concessions/Vendors.

Heritage of Flight Parade Saturday Oct. 1 @ 11 AM


The Parade of Planes will proceed down Main Street at 11 am. Community
sponsored floats, local bands, celebrities, and mascots, plus an amazing
display of modern and historical aircraft make this one of the most
spectacular parades in the region. New Carlisle Lodge will participate in
the parade and pass out candy. If you would like to ride in the Parade,
check at our Food Both for the location of the staging area by 10:15 am.

The following Grand Lodge Legislation will be discussed at our October Stated Meeting
Our three delegates to the Grand Lodge will be voting on the following legislation and would like your input. Listed below are the items to
be considered and will be discussed at our October meeting. The full text of each proposed change will be available at the October meeting.
Numbered items will be voted on. Lettered items were received after last years Grand Lodge.
Items to be voted on
1. With approval of the Grand Master, allow Lodges and Temple Companies to rent or lease any portion of the Temple, with the
exception of the Lodge Room, and allow the use of alcohol.
2. Permit the use of Masonic emblems in Masonic publications to distinguish businesses owned or connected with a Master Mason.
3. Voting in Grand Lodge, In no case shall a voting member, by virtue of any proxy or proxies, cast more than one vote.
4. Allow names of candidates for degrees to be sent by electronic mail or digital media that is restricted to members of the Craft, or closed
Masonic social media groups.
5. No Ohio Mason shall endorse officially, circulate letters or other promotional material which is to be used for personal gain. Any proceeds
(profits) derived from a trip must be for a specific charity approved by the Grand Master or split among all of those participating.
6. Remove in its entirety Sec 34.01 - It shall be unMasonic to be in possession of any ritual not authorized by The Grand Lodge.
7. Grand Lodge Attendance and Expense Allowances: Remove all reference to paying milage and per diem to representatives from each Lodge.
District Deputy Grand Masters and District Education Officers will be given a stipend instead of actual expenses for visiting their Lodges.
8. Amendments to the Code: Change required approval from two thirds to a majority of voting members present.
9. Clarify that the $2.20 collected each year with Grand Lodge Dues for the Ohio Masonic Home will go directly to the Home General Fund.
10. If more than one candidate present upon whom the EA Degree will be conferred and one of the candidates is the son of a Master Mason,
the son shall then elect whether or not he desires to be initiated first.
Items to be read for the first time.
A. Add to Sec. 11.05 All lotteries, games of chance and raffles of every kind and character, by or under the management or supervision of
Lodges within the Jurisdiction of this Grand Lodge, are hereby prohibited.
B. It shall be UnMasonic conduct, punishable by expulsion, for any member to practice, participate or encourage bisexual, pre and post op
transgender, polygamy, pedophile, incestuous, cross species or cross living domains sexual behavior.
C. It shall be UnMasonic conduct, punishable by expulsion, to practice or participate or encourage homosexual behavior.
D. When a brother appeals the decision of the Trial Panel, the Grand Secretary will forward a notice of appeal to the Trial Commissioner.
