Factors that affects Poverty

Most of the people nowadays think that they are already poor if they cant buy
what their want. We are sometimes not contented with what we have because we want
more and new and we know that we can do it with money. They dont even realize that
there are still much more people who needs money the most and there are more people
that are already contented with what they have despite the poorness they are
experiencing. Rich people are getting richer and richer and poorer people are getting
poorer and poorer. I hereby welcome you to the situation of the Philippines which we
can call Poverty

Poverty, as everyone know, is the condition of being poor. Philippines is also

experiencing poverty ever since as much as we can remember. There are reasons why
Philippines is poor. First, there is too much freedom and democracy for everything.
Philippines is a free country and we have very not strict laws that leads us to do
everything that is against in some instances and stronger determination for criminals to
do crimes. Second is the lack of discipline and too much ignorance and laziness. In
Philippines, most are not using our resources properly and causes to decrease of
resources. And too much ignorance and laziness is the attitude that overcomes in most
of the Filipinos that lacks of discipline. Third is lack of entrepreneurship. We do spend a
lot more rather than to balance our expenses which can cause of bankruptcy and will
make us poor. Another is the government priorities. Based from researches, the
economy growth in the Philippines is more increasing from the places far from the

places which really experiences extreme poverty. Another is Overpopulation. We do

belong to the top 10 highest population rate over the world and its because of the lack
of discipline, unprotected sexual intercourse and no family planning. And another
reason is the lack of education. Without education, well never know what we are
supposed to do in every situations that we will undergo.

According to studies and surveys, the Philippines GDP grew no less than 4.6%
in 6 consecutive years which averaged to 4.6% in 2003 until 2009. Poverty rates rise up
continuously, from 24.9% in 2003 to 26.4% in 2006 and 26.5% in 2009. And in the year
2010, reducing poverty has been the challenging goal for the newly elected president
Benigno Aquino which seems struggling to maintain growth that remains important to
keep the country from the right path.

And now, from the information that we received, we can now determine the
factors of poverty and the factors that causes poverty. For the factors of poverty, we
can say that:

Laziness

Ignorance

Indolence

Lack of discipline

are the factors of poverty because factors of poverty are something that contributes to
the causes of poverty. While factors that causes poverty are the causes of poverty
which came from the factors of poverty. The factors that causes poverty are:

Slow Economic Growth

Food Crisis

High Birth rates

Corruption

Incomplete land reform

Pressure of source of income

Lack of infrastructures

Mistrust in Government

Lack of Education

Government Priorities

For the bottom line, Growth alone is not sufficient in lifting the poor out of this
country. The Philippines so-called growth elasticity of poverty reduction is not
the only way below international standards. To reduce poverty, we should reduce
of being lazy and ignorant and we should be more sensitive to our surroundings
for a better place to live.
