Technical data DK
Sizes: From 2213 x 2715 to 2363 x 14234 mm
Max working pressure:
0.6 MPa
Test pressure:
0.8 MPa
Max working temperature: 110 C
Min working temperature: -20 C
Power range: Up to 3MW at ambient
temp. 35 C and water temp. 70/40 30 C.
Fan unit
1250 mm diameter fan units are equipped
with direct driven axial fans together with
squirrel cage motors. The motor can be
up-graded to insulation class H. The voltage
peak resistance can reach 2200 V.
The design for smaller fan sizes provides
external rotor fan motors as an option.
The motor design and internal corrosion
class are effective against corrosion in high
humidity environments. The standard design
includes tropicalization of the stator and rotor.
Frequency drive technology is available to
connect the motor to the inverter.
Electronically commutated technology
is available for the external rotor motor
(also 1250-size), enabling the motors to be
regulated at different speeds for changing
environmental conditions. This type of
motor allows an extra power consumption
decrease which is positive for the power
plant installation.
The fan is balanced according to ISO1940/1. Motors supplied with protection
class IP 55 and F-insulation are delivered
with open drain holes. The fans are also
available in different speeds depending on
the capacity and the acoustic requirements.
Casing
The standard casing of the heat exchanger is
made of painted galvanized steel, RAL 9001.
If desired the unit can be painted in other
colors for aesthetic reasons or specialty
coated for corrosion protection.

Verification
Pressure vessel is designed and tested
to be in compliance with European pressure equipment directive PED/97/23/EC.
ASME Section 8 Division I compliance
can be performed upon customer request. Advanced Finite Element Method
(FEM) analysis is used for structural
verification and risk assessment.
Packing
The air blast cooler DK is delivered
bolted to a wooden pallet as standard,
but separate wooden boxes or alternative
packing options are also available upon
request. A protective plastic wrapping
covers the fan unit. The cooler is
equipped with lifting lugs and brackets,
to make installation easier.
