Exhibitor Terms & Conditions
The Santa Barbara Business Networks may promote businesses using available media sources
(including but not limited to newspaper, radio, T.V.), with your registration you are permitting such
publicity, which may or may not include your name, business, or photos. We will pursue excellence in
the quality of any material submitted. You agree to hold harmless the Santa Barbara Business Network,
Expo producers, and any of its representatives, and release them of any and all liability that may result
from any event or activity you participate in. This agreement is governed by California law in Santa
Barbara.
You agree and understand that due to the nature of marketing and promotional activities and expenses
that are incurred in advance, during, and following the event, there will not be any refunds issued.

HELPFUL NOTES FOR EVENT DATE:
Bring your own equipment, stand-alone banners, and electric extension cords, etc.
Additional equipment is NOT included in your exhibitors fee. You hereby agree to be
responsible for payment of any additional equipment or services that you request and use at the
venue.

EXHIBIT SPACE ASSIGNMENTS: Booth spaces will be assigned at the sole discretion of the SBBE
Team. Exhibitors will receive updated confirmation letter with a booth assignment prior to expo date of
Saturday, April 29, 2017.

/2017 SBBE Exhibitor Terms Only

EXHIBIT BOOTHS: Set Up Time: 6:30AM-7:45AM. Booths shall be completely set up prior to the
Event opening (no later than 7:45AM) and the Exhibitor shall maintain competent personnel to
staff the booth during the advertised Event hours (8:00AM-2:00PM). The booths shall not be
dismantled or altered during the Event period. Exhibitor agrees to promptly dismantle and remove from
the premises the entirety of the display and all its component parts, after the final closing of the Expo to
the public and no later than the final posted tear down and move out time of 3:00PM, or accept
additional rental fees. The Exhibitor shall return the premises to its original condition at the conclusion
of the Event or the termination of this Contract. Any items left in the booth will be considered
abandoned. The SBBE Team reserves the right to judge the appropriateness of the display, products,
services, and literature promoted by Exhibitor and to prohibit the sale or display of any product or
service deemed inappropriate.
PARKING: Complimentary. Bring your parking ticket to the Expo Check-In table for validation.
FOOD SAMPLING: While the selling of food at the Exhibit Booths is strictly prohibited, food sampling is
permitted, but written approval required prior, or be subject to fines from the Department of Health.
INSURANCE & INDEMNIFICATION: Exhibitor agrees to obtain and maintain a policy of at least $1M general
liability insurance, unless otherwise covered. Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Santa Barbara
Business Network, Santa Barbara Business Expo producers and any of its representatives, for any claim, action
or lawsuit for personal injury or property damage, brought by any person or entity resulting from the negligent act
or omission of Exhibitor, its employees, representatives and/or agents.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Exhibitor agrees to pay for any additional services Exhibitor or its
representatives order at the prevailing rates at or in relation to this venue.
GIFT BAG INCLUSION, Optional: All items intended for gift bag inclusion must be approved by the
SBBE Board. All items must be delivered to the SBBE Office by prior appointment by April 20, 2017.
DOOR PRIZE: for additional mention, your business may donate a Door Prize. Bring Prize(s) with you
to Expo, fully gift packaged / gift basket, including your business name and full description of your gift.
[minimum perceived value of $50] There will be a table near the Stage in the main Conference room
(The Santa Barbara Ballroom).

VIOLATIONS OF PROVISIONS: Violation of any provision in this Contract will result in the immediate
termination of this Contract and the removal of the Exhibitor and its property from the Event premises,
with no refund of fees.
EXHIBITOR has read the EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES and EXHIBITOR Application and Payment
Authorization, and understands that it is included in the terms and conditions of this contract.
