HB2

When I first heard about this I was in favor of the

bathroom provisions. As I thought about it, I knew I needed to know more
about the bill to understand the uproar. HB2 is not a bad bill, it is a terrible
bill, made worse by the lies its sponsors have told us. See if you agree with me
as we go through this.
HB2 is simply a smoke screen to end run and nullify all previous antidiscrimination laws. It affects almost all people in one way or another. It has been
called the bathroom bill. That part they got right. It belongs in the commode. This
bill removes protection from women in the workplace, removes protection from
women of color, it grants the right to fire employees without cause or reason no
matter how long they have worked there. It also violates Federal law in regard to
legal rights in law and affirmed by the Supreme Court
New employers are brought here on assurances of tax reduction incentives and
cheap labor. I have personally seen printed handouts bragging on a cheap labor
force, Now they are looking to cheapen it even more! Remember when they threw
away coverage for unemployment? That forced people to take other lower paying
jobs. This bill seeks to make the working persons life harder and the wealthy
even richer,
The bill requires use of gender identity, in order to use rest and locker rooms and
other areas where full or partial nudity may be exposed. Such use ishereby
restricted to birth certificate gender for use of the appropreate bathroom signage.
Even what they used as a cover they did wrong. This bill needs repeal Consider
the case of a women who has a sex change operation.He is now required to use
the ladies room. Cross-dreesing men are still required to use the mens room. The
bill does not address this or the mental health issues wrapped around it..
My suggestion for a new bill. It is only about 10 lines long & an effective date of
immediately or as soon as permited by law. It repeals and replaces (legal name)
known as HB2. Use of (above mentioned facilities) is restricted to those parties
whose current or birth gender identifies their gender to agree with signage on the
room or area. Any person may report violations to local or state law enforcement,
Such violations shall be subject to up to six months in jail or up to__ years if
sexual misconduct or fraquent exposure is committed.

As to crossdressers, this appears to be a mental issue which, likely, may require

confinement in a mental facility for treatment.
