If you know you will be absent on the day of the assessment task, it is your responsibility to inform
the Head Teacher of your intended absence AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. You will be required to
complete and return an Accident/Illness Misadventure Appeal form BEFORE the day of the task.
If you are ill on the day of the task, you must notify the school before the assessment task begins.
You will also be required to complete and return an Accident/Illness Misadventure Appeal form.
If you are absent on the day of the assessment, you have ONE WEEK, from the day of your return,
to complete and return an Accident/Illness Misadventure Appeal form. Failure to do so will mean
that you will be automatically awarded a mark of zero.
On your return, you may be asked to do the assessment task. This is for practice purposes only.
It will not be used for your Assessment mark. You will still be required to complete and return an
Accident/Illness Misadventure Appeal form.
