Last week we looked at the creation of Adam, man and woman and the
covenant relationship that binds them together back to form one human again.
This week we will spend some time on the meaning of the story of Noah, why
YHVH destroyed the earth and the spirit that was behind all the evil. This Spirit
is from the Serpent and works within his followers called, the seed of the
Serpent.

The Wickedness of Mankind YHVH Repented

Gen 6:6-7 And YHVH repented that He had made man on the
earth, and He was angry to His heart. (7) And YHVH said, I will
destroy man whom I have created, from the face of the earth, both
man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air. For
I repent that I have made them.

Q Why did YHVH repent, did He have any sin to repent from?

Repented is the Hebrew word nacham ,xn, which means , to sigh, breathe
strongly; (by implication to be sorry), to pity, to take revenge, repent.
YHVH repented that He made man and He wanted to take vengeance and
destroy (judge) man to remove the evil from His creation.

www.hasophim.com 1
Hebrew Word Picture: Nacham (Repented) ,xn ends with the mem ,
that means water that reveals what the judgement will be, judgement by
water. What is even more fascinating, is when you remove the mem , or
water, you are left with the two letters nun chet xn that spells Noach or
Noah. Noach xn means rest and comfort during this time of judgement by
water , mem. Another hidden truth can be revealed from Noahs name;
Noach xn when you reorder the letters to chet-nun, it makes up the word
chen ]x, that means grace. Even during Judgement YHVH takes care of
His people giving them rest through extending grace to them.

Spiritual Insight: Mem , means water and has two distinct meanings; the
one is a cleansing agent, and the other is a means to judge and destroy. His
word is the medium that will be used to judge and represents His Word that is
the standard by which YHVH will judge the world. Secondly, mem
represents the cleansing agent, the water of the Word by which believers
must cleanse and prepare themselves, this is the grave that is given to man
so that they can enter into His rest (noach) during the time of judgement.

The Ark - A Picture of Salvation and Messiah

The Noahs Ark is the best picture in Scripture of what YHVHs grace and rest
are about. Yshua is the Word, the Standard by which He will judge the earth.
Yshua is the Word, protection for those who believe in Him and apply His Word
to their lives that allow you to enter into His rest at the time of judgement. If you
reject Him as your Saviour, you will meet Him as your Judge. There are some
similarities between the Ark and Messiah that explains YHVHs plan of salvation:
The Ark was made using incorruptible wood -
Messiah was a man without sin (2 Cor 5:21).
A dove descended upon the Ark while in the
water and a dove descended upon Messiah when
He was baptised (Matt 3:16).
The purpose of the Ark to save mankind and that
is the plan and purpose of Yshua the Saviour of
the world (John 4:42).
People could enter the Ark out of free will, and
you can accept Yshua as the Messiah, as your Saviour out of free will as
well (John 3:16).
The entrance was on the side of the Ark where the Noah and his family
came out after judgement, and Yshuas side was opened where water
and blood came out when He died, becoming punishment for sin (1 John
5:6).
Noah and his family found rest in the Ark during the time of judgement
and those who believe in Him, who cleansed themselves with His Word
will enter into His rest while the world is being cleansed and judged.

Q How do we avoid Judgment?
We find this is the opening words of John the Baptist as well as Yshuas
ministry Repent for the Kingdom is at hand. We saw how YHVH repented but
there is another word for repentance in Scripture that relates to us and that is
the word shuv where you get the word teshuvah or repentance from, Repent
or shuv bvs means; to turn back, to retreat, to return as found in the Book of
Ezekiel chapter 14:
Eze 14:6-7 Therefore say to the house of Israel, So says the Adonai
YHVH: REPENT (shuv) and TURN (shuv) from your idols, and TURN
AWAY (shuv) your faces from all your abominations. (7) For every
one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger who lives in Israel, who
separates himself from Me and sets up his idols in his heart, and puts
the stumbling-block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to a
prophet to ask of him concerning Me; I YHVH will answer him
Myself.
Repentance has to do with people who separated (nazar) rzn themselves from
YHVH. Nazar is a word that means consecrate, separate from food or drink
(fasting), separate from impurities. This word that has to do with you becoming
holy or set apart unto YHVH is used here to show that the people set
themselves apart unto idols and abdominal things, calling the things that are
profane, holy and vice versa.
Eze 22:26 Her priests have done violence to My Torah and have
profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between
the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference
between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from
My Sabbaths (plural ~ Sabbath & Festivals), and I am profaned
among them.
Spiritual Insight: We avoid judgment through repentance (shuv) that
involves two actions; turning away and turning towards. We need to learn
from His Word what is holy and what is profane according to YHVHs point of
view, not according to what we think. Then we need to inspect our own lives
and see which things can be associated with idols and abominations. Idols
are things that we do and allow in our lives that have to do with pagan
traditions and foreign religions, things we accepted through our cultures we
grew up in. Abdominal things have to do with actions we do that is offensive
to our Father, these include all sorts of sins and profanities as defined in His
Word (Torah). The key is to know the Word and without knowledge of the
Word, repentance is not possible.
The second part of repentance is to turn towards YHVHs things that include
His customs and His culture. These include the Festivals and His day or
Rest, clean and unclean foods, things that we do not see as sinful if you do
not do it, but it does matter to our Father as stated in Ezekiel 22:26.

Construction of the Ark
When Noah constructed the Ark according to the
Instructions YHVH gave him. The Ark only had one
window on top that was 1 cubit by 1 cubit in its
dimensions. The rest of the Arks dimensions were
given in the measurement unit called cubit, similar to
what we use today in our metric system unit, called
meter.
This reveals to us that the measuring system YHVH gave Noah is directly
related to the window, that YHVH used as the measuring stick to construct
the rest of the Ark. This makes that one little window the most important part of
the Ark and this fits the way YHVH works, using the smallest and insignificant
things (according to man), to do great things through, shaming the wise. (1 Cor
1:27).
Q There was another object that came later on in Moses time that had a
similar dimension as the window, with a size of 1 cubit by 1 cubit do you
know what that is?
When YHVH gave instructions to construct the Tabernacle, He used the cubit
as the measuring unit as well. The one object that were built with similar
dimensions as the Arks window was the Golden Altar of Incense. This
connects the window of the Ark with the Golden Altar of Incense of the
Tabernacle.
Q What does the Golden Altar of Incense represent?
Spiritual Insight: The Golden Altar of Incense represents the prayers
that went up before YHVH that stood in front of the Holy of Holies, as
prayers are offered to Him in the Spiritual. The window in the Ark also
represented Noahs prayers as he battled the storms in the physical.
This connects the window of prayer on the earth with the Altar of
prayer in the Heavens, both measured in prayers. The Ark is a
symbol of your salvation, and the Tabernacle is a symbol of your
worship, and both are based and founded on prayer. This makes your
prayer life a crucial aspect of your spiritual well-being, and the health of
your spiritual self can be measured by your prayer life. May you prosper as
your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)
Personal Application: When you experience turmoil and lifes destructing
waters makes your life unstable and you cannot see land or an outcome,
then look up through that window to the Fathers presence to receive an
outcome for your challenges you face. The important thing to always realise
is that you are in the Boat, in the Ark of Salvation, which is Yshua, and He
will not let you drown. Invest time in prayer; it is the building block of your
spiritual life and relationship with YHVH. We looked at the Sabbath last week
and saw that it exists in the 4th dimension (time), a higher dimension than our
physical 3-dimensional world, lower than the Spiritual dimension. Time or the
4th dimension connects the physical realm with the Spiritual realm thus
making prayer the way to connect and break through to the higher spiritual
dimension where YHVH is.

www.hasophim.com 4
This makes prayer one of the most important aspects of your spiritual life, and
you should give it a priority to have a healthy relationship with YHVH and a
successful life.
Delayed Answers: Prayer sometimes takes time to manifest
itself in the physical realm in the form of answered prayer. Why
Is this? Because of the nature of prayer, it connects the physical
with the spiritual and has to move through the dimension of time
to bring forth what it is intended for, and that causes delays from our
perspective. That is why you must keep on standing in faith until you see the
result of your prayer. Some people lose patience and give up saying that YHVH
will not hear them. He does hear you; it only takes time, and patience and faith
is the key to answered prayers.
Faith is the link and bridge you build between the Physical and Spiritual
Realms to connect the outcome or answer to our prayer to us. For your prayer
to be answered, the bridge must be maintained until the solution has travelled
to you. Stand in faith until your prayer is answered. Another reason is that of the
complex Spiritual Realm where things have to happen first before it can
manifest in the Physical. We find an example in Scripture where Daniel prayed,
and the answer did not come to him immediately because of a battle that had to
be won in the spiritual before he received his answer.

Nephilim or Giants on the Earth

Q - Why did YHVH destroy the world in the time of Noah?
Genesis 6:1-4 The sons of Elohim saw that the daughters of men
were fair, and they took wives of all that they desired and chose. .
.There were giants (nephilim) in the earth in those days and also
afterwards when the sons of God lived with the daughters of men,
and they bore CHILDREN to them
Noah was perfect in his
generations, and that means that
he and his family were not defiled
by the fallen angels.
Gen 6:9 These are the
generations of Noah: Noah
was a just man and perfect
in his generations, and Noah
walked with Elohim.

The Fallen Angels either had the

technology to defile YHVHs
Creation or they had sexual
intercourse with humans to
contaminate mans DNA in the
time of Noah. The same account is
recorded in the Apocrypha Book of Jubilees chapter 5:
Jubilees 5:1-3 And it came to pass when the children of men
began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born

www.hasophim.com 5
unto them, that the angels of God saw them on a certain year of this
jubilee, that they were beautiful to look upon; and they took
themselves wives of all whom they chose, and they bare unto them
sons and they were Giants. 2 And lawlessness increased on the earth
and all flesh corrupted its way, alike men and cattle and beasts and
birds and everything that walks on the earth all of them corrupted
their ways and their orders, and they began to devour each other,
and lawlessness increased on the earth and every imagination of the
thoughts of all men (was) thus evil continually. 3 And God looked
upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt, and all flesh had
corrupted its orders, and all that were upon the earth had wrought
all manner of evil before His eyes.
Noah and His family were righteous and kept themselves from this evil. This is
the most plausible explanation of why YHVH made the decision to judge the
whole earth and destroy all human life except Noah and
his family. If you read the Book of Enoch, you will get
more insight into this topic and more detail on the Giants
or Nephilim that walked the earth in the time of Noah.
Today archaeologists find evidence not only of these
Giants skeletons that prove their existence, but also the
structures that built that is not even possible with todays
technology which was the handy work of the Nephilim or
Giants. This was part of the plan of the Serpent, to defile
YHVHs creation so that the Seed of the woman can be made corrupt, and that
the prophecy of Gen 3:15 will not come to pass.

The Covenant with Noah

Adam and Eve were in a relationship with YHVH by receiving His Breath of Life
or His Spirit, that He breathed into them right from the beginning. When they
sinned, they lost the Spiritual Connection with YHVH and were removed from
the Garden and His Presence.
The sins of man multiplied o the earth, and in
the time of Noah, YHVH decided to start over
again, cleansing the land from all wickedness.
YHVH saved Noah and His family during this
judgment and this gives us the first example of
what salvation is, the act of YHVH extending
grace to His people in the time He judges the
earth.
Gen 9:8-9 And Elohim spoke to Noah,
and to his sons with him, saying, (9) Behold! I, even I, establish My
covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
YHVH calls this extension of grace a Covenant between Him and Noah that
will cover him and his seed who will come after him. YHVH sealed this Covenant
with the sign of the rainbow, giving a promise that the earth will never be
destroyed by water again. The rainbow is not only a sign that YHVH will not
destroy the Earth with water again but is a reminder that He will cleanse the
Earth with Fire.

www.hasophim.com 6
2 Peter 3:3-7 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last
days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is
the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things
continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this
they willingly are ignorant of, that by the Word of Elohim the
heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in
the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed
with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are
now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against
the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Whenever you look up and see the rainbow, it should be a reminder of mans
wickedness and YHVHs judgement, His grace and His salvation. Yshua said
that His Second Coming would be like in the days of Noah where people will go
about their business and not be prepared for what is coming due to a lack of
knowledge and unbelief.
Matthew 24:37-39 For the Son of Mans coming will be just as it was in
the days of Noach. Back then, before the Flood, people went on eating and
drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up until the day that
Noach entered the ark; and they didnt know what was happening until
the Flood came and swept them all away. It will be just like that when the
Son of Man comes.
To be sure, the passage in 2 Peter tells us the Second Coming of Messiah will
be unexpected to those who do not watch. It also mentions the conditions in
which we will be living that will usher in the return of Messiah and the Judgment
of YHVH. So now that we have been sufficiently warned in advance, what shall
we do to prepare ourselves? Most believers are ignorant of the end times and
what to do in order to prepare. The majority of Believers are ignorant of the and
times and the Prophecies that reveals Yshuas coming and keep themselves
busy with feel good motivational messages. It is not wrong to build people up
but we need to equip the saints to know what is coming.
Noah had the plan; YHVH revealed what he had to do to prepare and he
followed that plan and was saved. We as end time believers in Messiah
received a similar warning and a plan to follow and that is recorded in the Book
of Matthew as well as Revelation, Rev 1:3 states that everyone reading and
doing what is in the Book will be blessed, this blessing is regarding salvation.
We as believers in Messiah prefer to believe the pre-trib-rapture teaching
because it suits us and we do not have to do anything in preparation for His
Coming. This is contrary to the pattern found in the story of the flood and the
words of warning referenced in Matt 24:37-39. People (including believers), go
on with their lives, not preparing, being ignorant, and suddenly will be caught
out, just like the people outside the Ark when the rain began. This is the
message to His Covenant people of YHVH to be ready, to know the Scriptures
and to be watchman, warning others as you see the clouds building, reaching
out to those around you before the rain begins to fall.

Keep your Balance
Noah is described as ish adamah, the man of the earth
when he planted a vineyard, made wine, got drunk and
was found naked in his tent by his son Ham.
Q Ever wondered why Noah made wine and got drunk?
Was it the fermentation process that took him by surprise
due to climate change because the water canopy
vanished after the flood? Was it an indication to the righteous to show them that
they can fall? We all have a yetzer harah or evil inclination that tries to draw us
away from YHVH. Yetzer means imagination and Rah means evil giving the
meaning of evil imagination. The evil inclination or imagination always tries to
convince you that bad is good and good is bad, trying to get you to stumble.
Paul calls it the old man or old nature that you battle against to live a holy life.
The yetzer hara is not a demonic force, but rather man's misuse of things the
physical body needs to survive. Losing balance if you like; the need for food
becomes gluttony, the gift of procreation becomes lust, etc., all because of the
yetzer hara.
If you give ear to this voice in your head, it will convince you with your own logic
to do something that might tip you over the edge into sin. This probably
happened to Eve when that voice that told her to go closer to the tree just to
look at the beautiful fruit. Next thing, she was taking a bite.
Q - Was this the voice that tempted Noah to drink just one more unto a point of
overindulgence?
To keep your balance and not, sinning can be explained by the example of a
tightrope walker. A tightrope walker maintains his balance by leaning slightly to
the opposite side of what he feels is compromising his balance. If you do not do
this when you feel drawn to the wrong side, losing balance, you will not
compensate and move away from danger, lose balance and fall to your death.

be a problem and struggled with before you accepted Yshua.
Do not reason with your Yetzer Harah, and do not place yourself in situations
that will tip your weaknesses losing balance and fall into sin.

Uncovering Noahs Sin

Gen 9:20 -26 And Noah began to be a
farmer, and he planted a vineyard. Then
he drank of the wine and was drunk, and
became uncovered in his tent. And Ham,
the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness
of his father, and told his two brothers
outside. But Shem and Japheth took a
garment, laid it on both their shoulders,
and went backwards and covered the nakedness of their father.
Their faces were turned away, and they did not see their father's
nakedness.
We will all be tempted with the sin of Ham and when that happens, will your face
be turned away, not see someone elses nakedness?
Q - What does it mean to uncover someones nakedness?
Spiritual Insight: After Adam and Eve had sinned, they realised they were
naked, and we can make the connection that sin and nakedness are related,
sin exposes your true nature and others can see it, something that is usually
hidden.
When you see a good man stumble, will you respond like Ham, uncovering
his sin to everyone, or will you be like Shem and Japheth, covering their sin
and help them to overcome it? The words say that love covers all sin and if
you love your brother or sister, even a family member, you should always
cover their sin and help them to overcome, not slandering their name in
public. We all have sinned and you should not play the part of the accuser
often brethren, but rather be the one who supports and encourages one
another, especially when they are weak and have sinned.

Nimrod & Tower of Babel

Gen 10:8-10 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in
the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before YHVH: wherefore it is said,
Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before YHVH. 10 And the beginning of
his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of
Shinar.

www.hasophim.com 9
So, whos Nimrod? He was the first king on the Earth, the grandson of Ham.
His secular name is suspected to be Sargon, and he built Babylon and Nineveh.
It was possibly Nimrod who built the Tower of Babel, a ziggurat made of bricks
of which the ruins exist still. Nimrod was a towering figure, and he represents
the spirit that is associated with kingdoms of the world. Nimrod deliberately
rebelled against YHVH and became the descriptor of people. Scripture says that
he was a mighty hunter before YHVH. The word before can also imply to be in
YHVHs face or in defiance of YHVH.

Hunter is the word zaid dyo means ensnared

and he entrapped men to follow him against the
Almighty. It comes from the root word tsud dvo
that means to hunt, to take provision. Tsud is
first used in Scripture where Isaac asked Esau to
go out and hunt so that he can bless him with the
birthright.
Spiritual Insight: We see the connection
between Nimrod and Esau and Esau is
associated with the birthright that he sold to his brother Jacob who later
became Israel. From this we learn that the rebellion of Nimrod against YHVH
was driven by the spirit that was after the birthright, the promise that was
made to Eve regarding the Seed or Messiah that will come through her
generations.
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And
between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head,
And you shall bruise him on the heel."
The battle is between the seed of the Serpent and the seed of Eve and
manifests in Nimrod (seed of serpent) and gain in Esau (seed of Serpent) that
came against Jacob and later Israel. The word heel in Hebrew is aqev
bqi that is the word that relates to the name Yaaqov bqiy that is
translated as Jacob. Jacob was born with his hand (yad) yon the heel (aqev)
bqi of Esau, hence the name Ya-aqov. The Seed or the Serpent is the
Spirit that fuels hatred against YHVH and His Plan and His people, trying to
destroy the Seed of Eve, Jacob (Israel), the Messiah and the followers of
Messiah, those who carry the birthright. This Spirit is better known as the
spirit of the Anti-Messiah or Antichrist.
The fact that he was a hunter means that he was destroying the very things that
YHVH saved through Noah and the Ark. Nimrod turned the people against the
truth, and began the worship of the sky luminaries. Children
were sacrificed in exchange for prosperity. He wore a
headpiece with a horn in front, a symbol of his power and
authority. In fact, all crowns that are modelled with horns
are based on this design. We find the symbolism of crown
with horns in Revelation, describing the Beast with a crown
of ten horns, depicting this Spirt operating before the coming
of Messiah, working through ten kings or world leaders,
representing the seed of the Serpent.

www.hasophim.com 10
These leaders work under the authority of the Spirit of the Anti-Messiah, who will
rule the nations in the last days before the judgement and cleansing of the earth
(Rev 17:12).
Nimrods idolatry and ruthlessness caused his uncle, Shem, to destroy him,
cutting his body into parts and distributing them around the kingdom,
prophetically symbolising the destruction of the Spirit of the Serpent and his
seed, with his head being bruised (Gen 3:15).
Q Why did Nimrod build the Tower of Babel?
The Serpent or Lucifer always wanted to be like the most High and Nimrod was
the seed of the Serpent, trying to realise this ideal to be like YHVH, and to be
Echad or One. The tower is a means to accomplish that, to unify all the people,
making them echad under his authority, rebelling against the Most High God.
Isa 14:13-14 "But you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will
raise my throne above the stars of Elohim, And I will sit on the mount of
assembly In the recesses of the north. 14 'I will ascend above the heights of
the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.'
The second possibility is, because he knew the history of the flood, he wanted to
avoid a similar future event, building something other than an Ark to save
humanity. The spirit of the Serpent working through Nimrod is trying to find
alternate ways of salvation. We know there is only one way to be saved but we
see the same Spirit operating in different religions today that seeks alternative
means of salvation, other than through Yshua the Messiah. This gives us two
systems of Salvation; the Ark of Noah and the Tower of Babel that can be
compared to give us deeper insights into YHVHs Plan of Salvation vs. the
Serpents counterfeit plan of salvation.

Q What is the symbol of Tower of Babel, what does it represent?

Tower is the word migdal ldgm that means tower, raised bed, elevated
stage, pulpit. It comes from the root word gadal ldgthat means to grow up,
to lift up, to magnify oneself, greater, powerful, This word is first found in
Scripture in Gen 12:2 where YHVH made a promise to Abraham that he will
make him a great nation.

www.hasophim.com 11
The Tower is the response of the Serpent to this promise to Abraham, wanting
to make a greater nation than the nation promised to Abraham, a greater nation
than Israel.
Babylon or babel lbb means confusion by means of mixing. It comes
from the root word balal llb that means to overflow with oil, anointing,
mixing, fade, mingle, mix (oneself). Balal is first found in Scripture in Gen 11:7
where YHVH said that He will come down and confuse (balal) the languages of
the people.
Spiritual Insight: The kingdom of Babylon or the system of Babylon is
created by the Serpent with the idea to bless his followers with the same
blessing YHVH gave Abraham, making them a great nation (insights from the
word Tower). The way he recruits its supporters is to confuse them through
mixing or mingling them with his agents. His target audience is Israel or the
people of YHVH, infiltrating them and confuse them to follow another way of
salvation, as Paul puts it, preaching another Jesus / Yshua.
2 Cor 11:4 For if someone comes and proclaims a Jesus (Yshua)
other than the One we proclaimed, or if you receive a different
spirit than the One you received, or a different gospel than the
one you accepted, you put up with it way too easily.
There is a different spirit behind the counterfeit Jesus and this spirit is working
and operating through mixing and mingling foreign things with YHVHs Word.
This system called Babylon infiltrated the Church and will be alive a well in the
last day Church as revealed through the church of Laodicea, the lukewarm
church that YHVH is not happy with. As seen in the meaning of balal this spirit
provides an anointing for his followers, similar to YHVHs Spirit Who anoints His
Body. This makes it a counterfeit system within the Kingdom of YHVH, recruiting
followers from YHVHs people, deceiving those who are not learned in the
Scriptures. We read the following in the Book of Revelation regarding the
Babylon system:
Rev 17:4-5 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and
adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her
hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of
her immorality, 5and on her forehead a name was written, a
mystery, "BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
The Tower of Babel not only caused issues in the time of Genesis, but is still is a
problem today and referred to as the Woman riding the Beast and the Mother
of Harlots. There are numerous places in Scripture referring to the woman or
female, representing a religious organisation. This Woman, being the mother,
implies that she has daughters, which are religious institutions that are founded
on similar beliefs and who are subject to Her authority, tactics and doctrines.
The scary part is that this system does not refer to other religions like Buddhism
or Hinduism, but relates to a counterfeit religion that exists within Christianity
and Judaism, the Two Sticks that make up the Household of YHVH. This
system confuses YHVHs people, and He commands us to come out of Her.
(Rev 18:4)

Overcoming this System of Babylon
During the building of the Tower of Babel, the people had one language, and
YHVH confused their language, giving them multiple languages, so that the evil
unity could be broken. In the same way, will YHVH bring a strong delusion upon
His enemies, confusing their languages by allowing this confusion that exists in
the Kingdom today to continue. The very nature of the Babylonian system is the
means to overcome it. Babel means confusion and YHVH used their system to
destroy them. This will be similar in the end times.
2 Thes 2:11-12 For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion
so that they will believe the lie, 12 in order that judgment will come upon
all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.
Rev 22:11 He who is unjust, let him be more unjust; he who is filthy, let
him be more filthy; he who is righteous, let him be more righteous[e] still;
he who is holy, let him be more holy.
This Religious System (Babylon) consists of many languages (Religions /
daughters) and the Spirit of the Serpent will try to unify them, just like with the
building of the Tower of Babel, creating One Religion. YHVH will allow their
system to destroy them, allowing confusion in those Churches who submit under
this system. He is calling His people out of this System so that thy might not
receive the judgements that are to come upon these counterfeit system those
who seek the truth and embrace His Word.
We see an interesting example in the Book of Daniel. Daniel lived at the onset of
the Babylonian Exile. He and his friends (Shadrakh, Meshakh, and Abednego)
were part of the first wave of Jews to be exiled to Babylon by King
Nebuchadnezzar. In Chapter 3 of the Book of Daniel, we are told how
Nebuchadnezzar erected a giant golden statue in the valley of Dura, the place
where Nimrod had constructed the Tower of Babel. He called all of his ministers
and governors together from every corner of his kingdom and commanded them
to bow down to the statue, all peoples, nations and languages.
This Giant Golden Statue is synonym to the Tower
of Babel, and we read in Dan 2:24-29 that the Rock
will come and smash the statue at its feet,
destroying the systems created by man (political as
well as religious) so that YHVHs Kingdom can be
established before His Coming. This shows us that
this Torah Portion is linked to the End Times and to
the book of Daniel and Revelation and the message
is for us living in the last days so that we can
prepare ourselves for His Coming.

Matthew 24:37-39 For the Son of Mans coming will be just as it
was in the days of Noach. Back then, before the Flood, people went
on eating and drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up
until the day that Noach entered the ark; and they didnt know what
was happening until the Flood came and swept them all away. It
will be just like that when the Son of Man comes.

The story of Noah and the Flood is the best picture of what salvation is all about
and when that salvation will take place. Yshua connects the flood event with the
Second Coming where He will come again to judge the world. YHVH promised
never to destroy the world again by water as stated in our current Parashah
(8:21), and in its corresponding Haftarah (Isaiah 54:9). Yet, because of the
continued evil condition of the hearts of men, He must render judgment once
again, only this time the destruction will be by fire.
2 Pet3:3-7 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last
days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, Where is
the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all
things continue as they were from the beginning of creation. 5 For
this they willfully forget: that by the Word of God the heavens were
of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,6 by
which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with
water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by
the same Word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men.
To be sure, the passage in 2 Peter also mentions the conditions in which we will
be living which will usher in the return of Messiah, and the Judgment of YHVH.
He mentions the fathers that fell asleep. These are the spiritual fathers or
leaders that need to teach the people the Word of YHVH, the Word through
which everything was created, the same Word sustaining those who adhere to
it. So now that we have been sufficiently warned and learned that we need the
Word of YHVH to prepare ourselves for His Coming.
Q What were the conditions on the earth like before the flood and judgement
by brimstone and fire?
Knowing what it was like prior to judgement will give us an idea what our world
must be like to trigger judgement upon the earth. The people were sinful and did
abdominal deeds that caused YHVH to judge the earth with water.
Genesis 6:5-6,11,12 ...'And YHVH saw that the wickedness of man
was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of
his heart was only evil continually. 6 YHVH regretted that he had
made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.
11 The earth also was corrupt before Elohim, and the earth was filled

with violence. 12 And Elohim looked upon the earth, and, behold, it
was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.'
It said in Gen 18 that the sins of the people cried out to the heavens and YHVH
decided to come down to see it for Himself and then judge it in order to cleanse
it from the earth.
Gen 18:20-21 Then YHVH said, The outcry against Sodom and
Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous 21 that I will go down and
see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If
not, I will know.
Jude 1:7 ...'Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in
like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after

strange flesh, are set forth for an
example, suffering the vengeance of
eternal fire.'
The sins of the people in the time of Sodom
were to the extreme of sexual immorality and
idol worship, homosexual acts and all kinds of
lawless acts that provokes YHVH to anger.
Not only is this world today full of violence and
sexual immorality, including homosexuality.
These evils have now been turned into entertainment!! This world is now
entertained by the very things that YHVH destroyed the old world and Sodom for
in Noah's and Lot's day!
