05 Vision
NEST envisions itself to become the worlds largest Socio-corporate
organization through a carefully research and well planned business model.
The NEST business model is an integration of many business and welfare
models coupled into a single framework, we call BIG or Business
Nest will employ the matrix management structure for its entire lifetime
operations. The structure offers great flexibility in terms of decision making,
risk management, deployment and cross platform integration to perform
higher level operations, such as managing corporate and welfare operations
A structure allows for better and quicker decision making with many projects
developed and deployed almost simultaneously as well as reducing overall
business costs to the minimum. The model allows cross platform operations
which are best known as modules. Each module once developed can be
reused over the entire platform thus reducing the overall cost of operations.
Simple as ABC.
08 Board Objectives
1. To harness the power of education by providing high quality foreign
learning to the socially disadvantaged children and their elders. The cost of
corporate high education is next to impossible for a poor man to even dream
of for his child/ren, which is a basic right for a nations peoples. We will unlock
door for anyone to come and study for virtually no cost. Hence the creation
of the NEST group of schools.
2. To provide a sustainable means Livelihood by offering interest free loans
based on a lifetime partnership basis. NEST will provide not just the business
loan but as well as the entire platform for anyone that will integrate or
associate itself with NEST BIG.
3. Provide Education with Special Focus on Girls Education (A girls branch)
4. Provide Education and business opportunities to Special or unable
individuals of society (A NEST school for the physically and mentally
challenged individuals)
5. Healthcare is of the core focus area of interest for NEST. Achieving to
provide medical diagnostics for free, a medical insurance scheme system to
cover all emergency costs will be one of the greatest success measures and
a continued challenge for NEST. Receiving good Medicaid is next to
impossible for a poor person which leads to dead and diseases and
disintegration of families. High medical cost in Pakistan is a nightmare even
for the middle class individuals leave aside good quality of medical services.
Every lifetime penny earned is lost to receiving Medicaid in Pakistan and yet
the masses are unable to afford a good medical treatment thus disabling the
fragment of society. For NEST this is a
continued challenge.
6. NEST will invest. NEST cannot only
depend on charities or fund raisers,
rather it will act as an investor in people
and other business enterprises. All
profits hence coming out of these
investments will be funneled back into
the welfare projects of NEST. Although
contributions made will be utilized for
various projects yet much of it will be
utilized to create a sustainable income
stream to be funneled back into NEST Welfare Organization.
7. Promote Environment Protection and Address Climate Change Issues
and create the awareness required to help keep the environment safe. This
will be done through very specialized public awareness messages using a
broad spectrum of marketing tools. Create the awareness for consuming
organic foods from organic farms and to work and collaborate with
international conservation agencies for related projects.
10 - Focus Groups
NESTs focus is on the socio-economically disadvantaged groups of
women, youth and children. Keeping in view the overall socio-cultural fabric
of the society
and the overall power imbalances and discriminations that exist at all levels;
the focus,
amongst these groups, is again on the most vulnerable and the marginalized
social groups including the minorities and special groups such as widows and
physically
impaired persons and elderly people.
11 - Geographical Focus
NESTs overall geographic focus is currently in the Sindh Province but we will
move into other regions of Pakistan and finally into a Glocal organization in
the coming years.

involved in policy related issues of the organization. The Advisory Board
members are appointed by the board of Directors. The Advisory Board is
responsible to develop policies and provide technical support to implement
different projects and activities of the organization. The management system
employed by the advisory board will be based on the Matrix system where
each project/s will be implemented by a Projects Manager who are
responsible to manage the many volunteer group performing various tasks
on a day to day basis.
Proper implementation of activities according to the work plan is the
responsibility of the concerned manager. However, the head office regularly
keeps watch on the ongoing activities of these projects through progress
review meetings, field visits and benchmarking analysis reports.
15 - Departments
NEST has established its various departments which helps in the smooth
and systematic operations of organizations: These include:
IT Resources

16 - Financial Portfolio
NEST will finance its projects with grants, charities, corporate funding from
various
national and international donors. These grants are usually time-bound and
for specific
projects, once the objective has been fulfilled a funding may be stopped.
Therefore it is important for NEST to create its own sustainable investment
portfolio to build and fund its long, intermediate and short term projects.
17 Approach & Strategies
The organization strongly believes in the true and active participation of all
key
stakeholders particularly the local communities or program beneficiaries.
Fair efforts are
taken to ensure that stakeholders participate and contribute at all the stages
of the
interventions. As its strategy, NEST particularly focuses to ensure the
maximum participation of women, children and youth wherever required and
relevant and particularly if the program has any direct or indirect impacts
on their lives.
The overall approach of work also identifies the gender sensitivities if any
related to the
program and strategically addresses the same. NEST, as its overall
implementation approach, takes carefully into account the local culture and
traditions and fully respects the same.
