On receipt at Site the Fabricated materials shall be carefully unloaded and examined for defects,
checked and sorted according to its erection sequence requirements. The steels must be
supported with wooden skids above clean and dry ground. Rafter and other members shall be
supported properly to avoid unnecessary deflection.
The steel structure members shall be stored ad handed in such a manner that each is not
subjected to excessive stress which may cause damaged.
Bolts shall be stored in dry and clean containers covered with water proofed sheets. Packages of
bolts shall be opened shortly before it will use.
The fabricated materials shall be verified with respect to markings on the match marking
drawings and shipping list supplied. Any materials found damaged or defective shall be stacked
separately and the damage or defective portions shall be indentified by paint applied in distinct
color.

2.

Re Survey

Well in advance before starting the erection work re survey shall be conducted in the presence
of the Engineer / Consultant and anchor erector to determine the accuracy of grid lines
dimensions, anchor bolts distances and plumpness, level and elevations.
Non compliance shall be corrected prior to erection works.
All reference and control points shall be fixed near the work site for facilitating the erection work.

3.

Grain Raising ( Chipping )

Before installation, grain raising shall be performed on upper surface of the foundation in order
to avoid the flaking off of grout materials from the foundation surface.

Erection Works

4.1
Transporting of structural steel members. All transporting and off loading shall be carefully
to the location
where it is be erect.
4.2 Man Power Schedule
Worker for installation this steel towers shall be high skill and experience. Every location must
be good communication and coordination. The position for each job with the following list:
4.3 Hoisting and Installation
4.3.1
For Hoisting installation we need use pullbox for temporary hoisting during erection
the members.
Positioning of lifting equipment, base conditions under out rigger, operation circle, etc.
Shall carefully be examined before the work.

The pullbox can change position depend the members will erect.

If any abnormal parts are found, immediately pull down the member.

Proceed with the wind up and transfer operation slowly and carefully

Hoisting work shall not be interrupted under any dangerous situation ( Example :
Interruption during hanging situation )
Installation shall not be executed on rainy days, in strong windy or after sunset without
adequate lighting

Installation of Body Tower

The First Installation is first segment column and then the bracing. The first segment must
starting with correct elevation and correct distance. The good starting installation base on first
segment installation.

The bolts hole periphery conditions must be properly examined before assembly. At that time,
burrs and distortion around the edge of the material should be carefully removed or detailed
attention should be paid to correctness.
4.4 Alignment and Leveling

To make sure the Tower standing with stright and level.

Requirement spesification deviate indicated with 0.125% of Height Tower for Alignment.

4.5 Bolt Tightening

After completing alignment and Leveling continue to fastening and Tightening the bolts.
The final tightening shall be performed in accordance with the following in order to obtain the
standard bolt tensile strength.
The high strength bolts shall be fastened using the torque control methode.
After completing the fastening, verify the position of the marking and as shown by cross painted
at the nut.
