Description of how to implement in the class: The students will use a Timeliner
to create a Timeline about important dates and events that occurred during the Civil
War. The students will cover the standard above by adding in information about each
major battle and campaign along with the dates. The students will then go over their
Timelines in a group to discuss what information they might have missed or
information that they may want to add. This will help them learn the importance of
the Civil War and make sure they know all of the information that goes along with it.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): This is a Loti level 3 which is
infusion. The students will produce a product and share it with other students in the
classroom. The students will be teaching the other students in the classroom when
they are presenting in their groups. The teacher will serve as a guide to the students.
Description of the sample BBPT file provided *: The students will use this file as
an example. In class we will go over what the Timeliner is supposed to look like. The
example does not go in depth and show all the information that should be included in
the timeline.
