CASE STUDY #2 :Customer Relationship Management

Kshitiz College offers various courses affiliated to TU.

Multiple students get enrolled every year in each course. A

guardian can have one or more students in the college.


The college management faces real challange to allocate

internal marks in TU recommended format because of various

reasons.
The college management wants an online appication to keep

track of marks obtained by each student in each semester

for each subject spread over attendance, First Term, Mid

Term (optional), Pre-Board, class performance.


The managment wants reports like but not limited to:
1) List of all students in any batch
2) List of student starting with 'Ram'
3) List of those student who secured less than 30% of

inernal marks in any subject


4)List of those students whose attentdance is less than 60%

in any month (or any subject)

* The guardian should be able to view the same reports of

their candidate/s only.

CASE STUDY #3: HRM : Human Resource Management

In the Human resource records (HR), each employee has an

identification number, email address, job identification

number, salary, and manager. Some employees earn

commissions in addition to their salary.


The company also tracks information about jobs within the

organization. Each job has an identification code, job

title, and a minimum and maximum salary range for the job.

Some employees have been with the company for long time and

have held different positions within the oranization. When

an employee resigns, the duration, the employee was

working, the job identification number and the department

are recorded.
The sample company is regionally diverse so its tracks the

locations of its ware houses and departments. Each employee

is assigned to a department, and each department is either

identified by an identification code or a short name. Each

department is associated with one location, and each

location has a full address code, city, state, or

provience, and the country code.


In places where the departments and the warehouses are

located, the company records, details such as the country

name, currency symbol, currency name and the region where

the country is located geographically.
