Welcome to the Doctor Who Solitaire Story Game...

I just accidentally got married to Marilyn Monroe!

(The Doctor - A Christmas Carol)
The Doctor Who Solitaire Story Game takes you to Hollywood and the glamour of the movies in this latest
expansion. From the Golden Era of the 30s studios to the star-studded films and icons of the 50s, you can have
adventures both in front of and behind the cameras. Act the fool with Laurel and Hardy or let your companion
swoon in the latest horror film. Get Hitchcock to make you a star, or face off against James Cagney. Theres a
chance to duet with Sinatra but watch out for the charms of leading ladies! Ready for your close up?

How to Use this Expansion

This expansion allows players to visit Hollywood in three different
decades - the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. Each decade has slightly
different events, celebrities and popular Movies. Characters may also get
involved in making Movies whilst in Adventures. This can be done
through auditioning, or perhaps meeting some influential allies who will
get them into the movies. Movies they make may then win Awards and
Characters could attend glamorous parties or ceremonies.
This expansion also introduces the Actor Trait that represents the ability to perform on stage or in front of cameras.
Although this Trait may not see much use outside this expansion, Characters are free to purchase it normally.

H001. Making Movies

When Characters get to act in a Movie (by Auditioning h001a) they must try to complete 3 Scenes as Actions.
The Scenes need not be on concurrent Turns and the Doctor may not complete one if an Enemy is revealed - unless

Actions. With each Scene, a Character may earn

well and you can reap the rewards. When you have completed a Movie and have either Defeated the Enemy (or
the Enemy is from this expansion) or an Enemy has yet to be revealed, see h001b below as an Action.
This expansion contains six genres of Movie Horror, Western, Comedy, Musical, Thriller and Drama. Each has
