Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group

Task 1:
1. Explain the concept of even and number by engaging the students and
let them explore.
I will choose 2 students and give them five flowers and asked the
rest of the class to divide the flowers into two. After that the
Guided Experience (group working with the teacher)
Independent Experience (small group activity 1)
The teacher will explain the activity and students will get chances to engage
and explore.
Matching cards. (low level)
Materials:
Paper
Pointer or cubes.
Instructions:
Give each student a paper.
Ask the student to select one number they want and then represented using
cubes or any other pointer.
Remained the student to count their number into two and then decide wither the
number is odd or even.
I will use evaluation paper to assess the students learning.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)


Show me the words. (Medium Level) .This activity will be for two groups.
Materials:
Cards with numbers.
Instructions:
It will be individual activity.
Each student will read the number, and then represented to see if it is even or
odd.

Materials:
Student has an addition problem in cards and then put them on the conical object.
Instructions:
It will be paired activity, each partner has a turn to select an additional problem
card and solve it. One will solve and give the sum and one will check if the
number is odd or even.
Students can make it manually or with using object to have fun with math.
Closing
Put the race board on the board.
Divide the class into two groups, even and odd.
After that, each time select a student and ask the student to choose card number.

Ask the players to flip the card to see the number on the card, then decide
whether the number is an odd or an even number in order to be able to move
on the board.

Assessment
While students doing the activity I will walk around to observe their pronunciations of the
words .In addition I will ask them oral question, such as, what is this. Moreover, I will provide
appropriate feedbacks for them and improve their learning.
